Klaus Mikaelson: The Great Evil (REACTION!!!) 

“Is everybody in this show attractive?” Yes, yes everyone is.

The Mikaelsons are some of the greatest and most interesting fictional characters ever created. Its hard to not be invested in their story. Hope by herself is such an intriguing concept, just as a concept much less as the character she is, her story just as engaging as Klaus'.

“The Originals” has a more mature theme than The Vampire Diaries. I think that’s why people prefer it. I can see that you already like Klaus’s character. So I would suggest watching the Vampire Diaries as well to get a full grasp of his character.

the originals in my opinion was better than tvd just because of the story, it was darker and more focused on one thing at a time. they expanded so much more on the Mikaelson family and i always thought they were very interesting.

In The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, there is no good or bad character. Most of them are a gray area. The ‘evil’ characters are always a fan favorite because there’s just so much depth, character development and stories behind them.

Vampire Diaries is kinda high school show, The Originals is much more adult and thats why i like The Originals more but I would recommend you to give a chance for Vampire Diaries and if you dont like it you can just watch The Originals. Btw i watch you for the first time and as far as i see you are one of the most sincere reactors on youtube. Yesss you should watch the originals! It’s so good. Like in my opinion the first season 1 through 7 it kinda sucks but 1x8 it starts getting good and now I’m obsessed with it!!

In fact this family was supposed to be the villain of some seasons of "The Vampire Diaries", but they are so "good" that they had to do a series just for them, "The Originals"

More originals stuff I suggest is 'The Originals | Heroes' or 'The Originals 'oh bloody hell' [humour] both by GoldxNoir, I also highly suggest the following by Daddynegan: 'Kol Mikaelson: the wildest', 'Rebekah Mikaelson a choice' and 'Elijah Mikaelson a purpose', they are a lot like this but based on Klaus's siblings, Elijah being the oldest, Kol the middle child and Rebekah their youngest sister. Simplest backstory: They were all turned into vampires by their mother after the death of their littlest brother Henrik and they frequently stab each other in the back for different reasons- they are also all badass mother fuckers, Klaus is the deadliest as he is also half werewolf. The originals takes place in the vampire diaries universe and was introduced in the second season but you don't need to watch TVD to understand The Originals as it stands on its own. Keep up the good work and stay safe!

I've seen many ask the question " Is everyone this attractive in these shows" The answer which I would agree with is yes. There are several very attractive characters in the vampires diaries. However the question is asked even more so about the originals there are many, many attractive characters in the originals.

Your invested because the writing on The Originals is effing brutal and so damn deep. It's a show about vampires and werewolves, sure, bla bla. But really it's a show about overcoming abuse from your family, and the trauma that lingers from abuse, and the inability or ability to break the cycle of abuse. It's so freaking intensely good. So well written.

Why am I crying-

this show is an emotions for me i can literally feel everything been happen to them in the series ....the bond is so strong that whenever i hear anything about the originals i becomes so excited that it feels like i am a part of this show or something...i have seen this whole series 2times and i still cries every time they stab each other to the death.

Klaus is not evil just an effect from a thousand years of living and the effect of being half werewolf which heightens your emotions especially angry/rage/aggression and on top of that being an original vampire heightens it even further with a hint of bad parenting from his step father and mother that would try to kill her immortal kids after a 1000yrs and the only thing that is keeping him going crazy and ripping anyone and everyone's head who just crosses him is older half brother that once plotted to kill him, his half sister that plotted with marcel that basically speed dial her father to kill him so both of the can live happily ever after with their immortal lives and his daughter who is a tribrid which is a original vampire, werewolf and a witch so yeah Niklaus Mikaelson isn't evil he was just betrayed but his mother, step father, siblings, friends/adopted son and oh yeah having to burden the reason why his youngest brother died from a werewolf cause he took his brother at night to watch them.

I'm pretty addicted to this show. That I literally watch this 11 times now. Every time I finish a new series and I don't know what to watch anymore. The first thing that comes to mind is The Originals. And then after finishing the series I watch other shows again to rest then go back here. I mean it's just a show but every time I watch this over and over again it's like I learn a new life lesson.

A lot of people are saying if you don’t like the vampire diaries don’t watch it just watch originals but you have to watch vampire diaries from season 1-4 to even understand the depth and the world of the shows. It’s a three part show so you should definitely try it.

The Originals (where this is from) is 100% worth taking the time to watch. In The Vampire Diaries, Klaus was the antagonist, in The Originals, Klaus is the Anti-hero you come to love. His redemption arc is so deeply moving, and while we aren't vicious killers like him, some part of each of us can relate to his pain. And it IS his pain that motivates everything he does... until he learns to love.
