I will add to what @Lizzy Heart stated. Klaus & Haley's daughter Hope is not only a Mikaelson. She is also a unicorn! A trybrid (vampire, werewolf & witch) the only one of her kind in existence! And first bloodline of all three. Equals more powerful then any other and her blood only can both heal and cure about anything! So not only is her and her power highly hunted for but the most rare blood in this universe of TVD, TO and Legacies! Hope is the lead character in the spin-off of the originals called Legacies.

The show is about the Mikaelson family they are 6 children with parents making it 8 mikaelsons in total, but the show mainly focuses on klaus and Elijah mikaelson. Dahlia is the Sister of their mother, their mother couldn't have a child so she went to her Sister Dahlia for help, but Dahlia only helped her after she promised that every first child of every mikaelson generation be giving to her as payment for her help, and she agreed, that's how she was able to give birth to the 6 original children. But now klaus has a daughter, which is why Dahlia came to take her away just like klauses mother promised her, but klaus was obviously not gonna let that happen

The mikaelsons are the most powerful family ever made in this universe as well. Hope is also the most powerful character in this universe to ever be made because she is the daughter of the first vampire ad well as the first and only hybrid and the grandaughter of the first and most powerful witch as well as the daughter of the last crescent werewolf and alpha werewolf. dahlia their aunt tries to take the kid and the baby is very powerful because Klaus the main dud is a hybrid (vampire werewolf mix) and her grandmother was a witch and her mom was werewolf alpha so he is really powerful and important the aunt made a deal with Klaus's mother that every first born child will be hers from every generation so she tries to take hope.
