Let's be honest, Caroline and Stefan were a weird, unlikely afterthought couple. Caroline and Klaus were a couple that should have happened, a couple we were teased with for so many years, but there was kind of an unapoken feeling that they will happen and then Julie Plec fucked up
Right I feel like Caroline and Stefan were like a last minute decision. I never really felt the love between them. They were better off as friends. Klaus and Caroline would have made an incredible love story but they would of had to wait until season five of the original because if it was before she would of messed up the show on the story line in TO . If that makes any sense

I didnt watch the originals season 5 because i knew klaus would be killed at the end of it.... I am pretending the ending of season 4 is what proceeded legacies (which sucks)

In the alternate universe where Hope was never born, Klaus and Caroline potentially would have been lovers but villains, and that's because Hope is what changed Klaus. Her existence is what made him better, becoming a father gave him a reason to not misbehave constantly. In this world where Hope exists as his daughter, and if he didn't die, he definitely would have been with Caroline. It makes perfect sense.

Caroline herself stated she doesn't want to be his love and she will be there for him as his friend. Without Hope, he would have destroyed the world and Caroline, the good vampire, would have been something that's goes against her whole character - evil. So, i suppose he turned her humanity off in this alt reality as he did Stefan to have his bff, which is abusive af and it also shows that Caroline did not change him and did not have such influence to do it, as the most of KC fans try to claim.

In the original timeline after Stefan died, it was obvious that Klaus was still in love with her and that she had feelings for him as well. Proved it when they kissed each other after she found out he was going to sacrifice himself. Caroline was afraid to love again after she lost her husband, but there was always love for Klaus. Majority of the fans recognize this and like the Klaroline ship.
Really wish they had made Klaus words "He's your first love. I intend to be your last, however long it takes" become a reality. I wanted him and Caroline to end up being together so bad. I feel like when they made Stefan and Caroline end up together and married, the writers decided it was unfair to make her move on so soon and we all know Klaus fate, so that can never happen now. Klaroline is my favorite ship in the show, even over Delena!

Same I always wanted Klaus and Caroline to end up together. Like you said the line “however long it takes” was like a tease that they might end up together and then The Originals started and I thought it was gonna happen there. But it didn’t. Either way in my mind they ended up together.

I mean Freya has been utterly useless in last season, there she is a 1000 yo all powerful witch instead of looking for a loop hole to save her family she decided to get married instead and just give up lol they couldve reached out to Dahlia and Esther in the ancestral plane to ask for help or advice and Hope should of been the greatest witch to walk the earth but they nerfed her so bad in Legacies that she just shy close to a basic witch. The writers totally abandoned all prophies about Hope in TO like she will be the end of witches and all yk, also it was mentioned in Legacies that Klaus was still arnd, watching Hope everyday which means there's defo a magical way and chance they can bring him back.

Geez i miss him so much...Doesn't matter how many people they dated they would of ended up together if Julie wasn't such a bitch. He deserved her...He was the only one who treated her right from the beginning, he didn't toss her to the side for Elena or for someone else like Everyone else did. I loved Steroline but no i didn't want them to be Endgame Klaus and Caroline were meant to be together he always loved her. Cami was proof he liked her because it reminded him of Caroline. She was the only one who really saw his bad side and didn't hate him for it. People say Cami was the same but she only saw him be bad a few times, Caroline lived it, her own friends and obviously she would of felt bad thinking of him because she always had one of her friends talking down on her for caring about him. I hate julie she killed Hayley and Stefan, Klaus and Elijah. Hayley had no reason to die neither did Stefan. Klaus and Elijah dying was stupid and i really hate legacies and i don't plan on watching it because i hate how hope became.

I get the hatred for Julie, but I personally think Legacies is actually a good show, but in it's own way. It's also the only show where Klaroline was endgame (at least in a different reality), which is comfort to my Klaroline shipping soul.

Might I say that Klaroline actually was one of the reasons why I started loving and watching TVD? An old pal I had used to adore this show, so I watched a bit of season 4 online, mostly for her, and Klaroline was so perfect I decided that I fully needed to watch this show. Other reasons include Rebekah, because I adore Rebekah.
Try this point of view, the actor/actress has another plan on their life and they must leave the show. :) Too many people blame julie, it just seems not fair to me. I myself is a big fan of niklaus and caroline, but when life give you lemon..

I think this is a stab in the back as a Klaroline Shipper mainly because in the episode (legacies 1x10) it meant that without Hope Klaus will rage a war along with his Wife Caroline, I mean don't get me wrong, I love that they get married and stuff but the fact that they made it seem like Caroline get succumb by darkness or that she didn't pull Klaus out of insanity that they ended up being bad guys ruins the Whole point of Klaroline. 😕 they literally point out in the episode that if Klaus hadn't had Hope and ended up with Caroline they would both become the worst mess. Its just sad.
I'm late to this lmao but I feel like it's the other way around, I feel like Caroline is with him because she's the only one that can pull him out of his insanity but it might take years. I am in tears. I spoiled both shows in the same day but I wouldn’t of enjoyed them as much anyway. Caroline and Klaus were meant for eachother but I think it was right people wrong timing so knowing that they ended up together makes me really happy. Honestly this ship is iconic. They separated the characters in 2 different shows and yet the fans never stopped rooting for them and waiting(hoping) for them to happen. It's quite amazing. Till this day I believe that when juli was writing this ship in TVD she had no a idea the monster she was creating :D. I think that a big part of why the ship turned out the be as big as it became was Candice and especially Josephs acting. I still remember the episode where Klaus goes to heal her from the bite and it was like over night people were going crazy about Klaroline.
