Yes, sometimes there is also winter in summer in Switzerland. Like last week when it snowed heavily at 2000 meters above sea level at Kleine Scheidegg below the Jungfraujoch. What should have been green was as white as in the depths of winter.

Vielen lieben Dank - ich glaube dass sind mehr - Lauterbrunnen liegt auf 800 Metern über Meer und die Kleine Scheidegg liegt auf 2000 Metern über Meer. 😀

Winter is just better idk why alot of people dont find it relaxing like as someone who grew up in a tropical climate obviously its diff its switzerland but i quickly get bored by normal vegetation and summers and if its sunny i would'nt have that much fun...winters and snow is the most awsome thing🤗love you rasta❣️

What a difference from last year, I was at Kleine Sheidegg on the 8th June and there was sunshine with little snow. Your weather is so changeable.

Normally how soon snow at mountain will be melting ? I am going to do hiking at trockener steg (around 2900 meter above sea level)on 12 June and worried that i cannot hike due to snow.

Well, it can always snow on this altitude - even in summer - but normally, the snow doesn't stay long 😄
