@rodysegovia4382 Just seeing this, the Llano V12 can provide 11 to 13 degrees of cooling power, which is currently one of the best. The Klim Turbo Frost is so nice because it can provide up to 10 degrees of cooling power, plus the price is $10 dollars less and the noise level will be 10db more quieter. If you want strictly cooling power, get the Llano V12. For great cooling power and better noise control, get the Klim Turbo Frost. Hope this helps 👍👍
I want to get a cooler for my laptop but I don’t know which one would be better for me Acer nitro V 1. Llano v10 (3500rpm) 2.GT500 (5000rpm) 3. klim tubofrost (4000rpm) All three at the same price, which do you recommend?
I haven't reviewed the GT500 so I can't comment on that one. Get the Llano V10 if you plan to be mobile with your cooler, it's more compact for travelling. Pricewise, currently this one will cost more: $100 with RGB and $90 without RGB lighting. Get the KLIM TurboFrost for better cooling power and pricing: $90 with RGB. Think about, what do you prefer more, hope this helps!
@@jpalacesneakers any update? It seems the only thing to clean is the single-layer dust filter. Otherwise you can only use compressed air or something similar for the fans, but I don't think this is efficient.
@dzch1982 Underneath the unit it has 15 screws, I started to remove all of them to see if there was an easy way to get to the fans, but unfortunately there isn't. Once the screws come off, the entire bottom housing would have to come off. It would be okay if there was only a single panel that lets you access the fans, but the bottom panel houses all the usbs and power connections (the bottom shell is a one piece with inserts for some electronic components). It could still be done, but it would be a lot of extra work to remove the housing. You would have to be patient and careful to make sure you don't damage some of the electronic components. Some pros are by just simply removing the filter panel you can see two fans, so you could clean those with some cotton swabs or compress air or any other method of your choosing. You don't have full access but can reach them without too much trouble. The other two fans are not visible but in theory, would have less dust since they are less exposed. So that's a good thing, two fans you can easily clean, and the other two are more hidden so would have less dust. Now with these coolers a lot of people always ask about cleaning the fans, and the reality is the fans are not always possible to access or would literally require you to take the whole unit apart to reach them. In these cases, what I always recommend is: better to open your laptop and give it's routine maintenance, that would be worth the time and effort much more to remove any dust or debris. Best practice is: clean the two visible fans as best as you can, really simple and easy. Then after 6 months or so clean your laptops fans, it will be worth it. Sometimes, depending on your laptop model, taking some screws off the bottom panel, it comes off easy and gives you full access to the fans. Hope this helps my friend 👍👍
