A great cooler for laptops with large bottom vents. The modern laptop that I used in the video also sits somewhat low, so it works nicely with the BS1. It is going to be my go to for working and gaming at night. On the other hand, I have an older model HP where there is only one vent on the right side, this type of setup will not pair great with the BS1 Cooler. Lastly, running other benchmark programs can provide more specific information, but this is a nice general overview for everyone. Feel free to ask any questions, enjoy!
@Selimify Check this video out, really took my time, I did a side by side comparison: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8e6hCqWyipw.htmlsi=-i0vgbcu5il62YM_
Really detailed review. I appreciate that. This cooler caught my attention, it looks different from most. Definitely gonna take a look into it. Thanks!
Excellent video, greatly appreciate the comparison. I had to return the Llano as it was so damn loud, even at 300-500 RPM (I have SONY Inzone Gaming Buds with ANC and the Llano could STILL be heard while gaming). Ordered the BS1, hopefully it'll be bearable noise-wise.
I feel your pain, I tried doing some voice recordings for some gameplay and the mic was picking up the fan, I had to throw the audio in the recyclables. BS1 is a lot better, can still hear the fan but not as loud, hopefully it's not too loud for you 🙏
Great video! Thanks! But I wish you included temperature changes between different rpm chances. Because i would like to run it at the lowest speed, and wanted to see how much temperature could be reduced just at the first speed level.
Bought this beast. Should be delivered to me till the end of this week. Purchased directly from China for 65$(Russia) Based on sum of characterestics this is one of the best option. I think GTS and Liano one are toooo loud, 80 db... jeez. Don't want this taking off airplane to be in front of me
I have in stock, the IETS gt626. Gt500 and MEMO FL08 compared with them used with laptop MSI Katana 15 B12 cooling pad does not cope with its main function, the foam zone lets in a lot of air regardless of the position of the laptop, so the cooling is at the level of conventional cooling pads, the foam zone is ill-conceived, too thin, and its area is too small compared to competitors in addition the laptop is constantly wobbling when typing. The air intake, although large, can only draw air from the front, on the sides there is no air intake. because of this, it is also inconvenient to place close to the wall because of the small air flow, the competitors do not have such vulnerable places. The dust net in it is not removable, and it is awfully inconvenient to clean it, but it must be done without fail, I think there is no need to explain why. the solution is only to blow with a strong stream of air. Despite the many promising advantages, this product is extremely disappointing due to design problems and is not worth the money. I plan to return the product.
Appreciate the detailed message, it's very valued and will be useful to others deciding if this cooler will work for them. Now I have noticed others mentioned depending on their laptop built, if it does sit high off the ground or has rounded edges it can affect the performance significantly. I also do agree with the wobbling, that can be annoying when pressing down on the keys. These laptop coolers will not work for every laptop and every set-up. For me, since my laptop sits low to the ground and I like to use a separate mouse and keyboard, I won't have some issues. Great insight aldiozz, can help many make a good choice!
@@jpalacesneakers you could check if there is an air leak between the laptop and the pad, especially on the GPU fan outlet side, my main leak is from there, if you push the laptop, the leak from the video card disappears but appears on the CPU side and the tilt level of the laptop doesn't affect this problem unfortunately. P.s I also want to note that for effective cooling IETS 626 angle of tilt should be raised on the legs, then the cooling efficiency will be on a par with IIano.
@jpalacesneakers hey lemme tell ya somethin, if you don't want any of those coolers....... I'm here for you..... my CPU is constantly at +97celsius. I really need it man, I'm desperate. Thermal throttling is my best friend
Does msi katana gf66 suitable using flydigi bs1? I'm not really knowledgeable about air flow and stuff so I'm worried about buying a wrong cooler for my laptop. Can you give some pointers?
Hey thanks for the review I also have a legion pro 5 7945hx I just got the gt626 and i dont use more than 1600rpm cause it gets super load even with closeback headphones With the gt626 the dust filter can be removed and can be easily washed I wanted to sell my gt626 and buy the bs1 cause its quieter compared to gt626 and i can use 3000rpm without worrying about the noise Now my only concern is the dust filter Can i remove it and wash it like the the gt626? and if not whats the best way for it Can i clean it at least? Tysm❤
I'm Thai. I don't understand what you're saying. I want to know if it's worth the price I paid. Or should I go play with something else? I use Asus tuf f15 :)
Wow this cooler is way more quieter than my GT626 and V12 by 10 decibels even on max speed but the cooling is just not enough. Only 8°C reduction is not much worthy though, GT626 and V12 can cool down by 22°C. These are just a bit louder as the main problem. Your laptop is already great even without the cooler so that makes these coolers look less effective. Me myself can easily go up to 90°C or even 100°C so need to take that into consideration too when testing the effectiveness. So what now? Should I get this one? 🤷♀
100% agree! It really is: Sound Reduction vs Cooling Power If you have an older laptop or a laptop that is not that old but still heats up more than usual, then cooling power is going to be a must, a priority. Newer laptops may not need cooling too drastically, but they can still benefit from a cooler. In these cases, it's going to be convenience vs performance: something more quieter or more cooling. Technology has improved a lot with portable coolers, yet it is still difficult to build max cooling with no sound at all (this would be a dream for many of us). Just comes down to needs at home, more quieter if the noise bothers others or if the laptop really needs the cooling to operate correctly. Think about what you need, for me the sound reduction at home has helped big time. Thanks for stopping by Jakiyyy, I appreciate the detailed comment 👌
@@jpalacesneakers I honestly don't care about the noise as long as the laptop cool but the people around me does. If I had my own apartment and live alone then I wouldn't have any complaint at all regarding the noise. 🤣
