Hi. Are you using klipsch quintets as height speakers? If yes how do they perform? I’m considering using them as surrounds and elevation/height speakers. What sub do you use? Thanks.
Yes, except for the new 450C the other 4 speakers are quintets. But I also have 2 Bose 301 as B front speakers (left and right) at head height sitting down and the quintets are elevated about 2 meters point slightly down. I actually don't like this video because the speakers don't sound as great as they do now because they are broken in. Anything in Dolby ATMOS sounds epic. Avengers Infinity War is mixed really well so it sounds epic.
Well this is basically useless comparison for us to hear.. Did yopun use an on camera mic, what device recorded this audio a camera a quality mic???? should have been about 10 ft from speaker i'd hope not further if it accompanies watching a movie on that 60+" LCD
you have your bose 301's in wrong position tweeters go on outside and back tweeters pointing inside as recommended by bose you have the back tweeters basically against the wall they should be pointed inside facing each other
Yes, if you play quality lossless audio it sounds amazing. This test wasn't very good. The speaker was new and I had to let it settle in for a week. But yes, having a this centre speaker changed everything. Clarity, and fullness. Also, I find that some audio tracks are mixed poorly and you have to learn not to second guess the speaker. If it sounds bad (low in clarity), the audio is bad, not the speaker. Logan sounds epic, but it is mixed very well.
I don’t think my video was the best because the speaker was new and the dslr microphone is terrible. But trust me, there’s a phenomenal difference if you set it up right
Bioshock BigDaddy agree, it was a bad choice. The speaker has settled in now and it sounds amazing with DTS HD Movies. And lossless music sounds great too. My bad. I might make another video one day.
