getting paid while earning your CDL is kewl. I went through Pam Transport and they didn't pay at all besides the Hotel room. Anyone reading this stay away from them. pay is aweful I went through them as at the time the school taught on manual and i wanted to be able to drive manuals if need be.
I commented on your other video and asked questions so you probably remember me. But how long do you typically drive on the road till you get rest time? Or do you drive until you get to your destination?
i'm curious what that academy is exactly for. is that what you take after you have your cdl? i've been interested in kllm for a while and im currently taking a class to prepare me for my cdl test at the dmv. also i was wondering if they have rooms you stay in while youre taking your class or if you stayed in a hotel/airbnb. thanks in advance and nice videos, theyre very informative :)
They are on hold at the moment, but the academy in Lancaster will get you your CDL from Permit, Medical and then full testing at that location with certified testers. Thanks for the support.
Hi been watching your videos and you have good content would like to no what Areas is KLLM are hiring I have a CDL but Haven’t drove for 7 years do you no if they hire out of Massachusetts
Thank you for the nice comments. You would need to contact a recruiter. The number is on the KLLM website. I don’t know the hiring areas at the moment.
You can if they have a class. Honestly, I would do company for a few months to gain experience. I was happy they delayed the classes for six months and I had to drive company. I learned so much in that time.
Steve, what if you have your CDL A but you don’t have experience, and should I obtain my Hazmat, Tanker, and TWIC card? Lastly, I live in the NYC area, does KLLM hire here? John
Hello. I believe the hazmat, tanker and TWIC are all good to get even if you don't use them right away. But it certainly expands your options in the future. I do believe we hire out of NYC. In fact, I think our hazmat side is hiring for up there.
