Thank you for this wonderful video. The final approach into Cape Town was just magnificent. The memories just came flooding in, as I was just there last month. However, my KLM flights to SA were Washington to AMS and AMS to JNB. KLM was a pleasure (even from the back of the plane). I can’t help but agree with you, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Everything is designed so well, from the lounge and the cabin to the pepper & salt clogs and the Delft Blue houses. Also, they use Dutch manufacturers as much as possible for everything, including spirits and cosmetics. Very nice to see.
That's strangely xenophobic from a nation which thinks there should be no borders and that the whole nation's wealth and resources should be surrendered to foreigners... And from people who immediately accuse others of being nazis if they say anything even slightly nationalist or protecting the rights & property of their own citizens. But I guess this is a case of an opportunity for the people in authority to funnel taxpayer money into their friends' pockets (giving them the overpriced purchasing deals)...who will eventually return the favor somehow...
Yeah, why not make everything political? The guy who filmed this video is Belgian and so am I. It's just great marketing of KLM and if you have money to line pockets with (which I don't think is the motive, btw), why not choose the pockets of your friends instead of strangers?@@pistonburner6448
Flew KLM from AMSTERDAM to DC last summer and it was great even though it was the older A330 product my flight was comfortable in business and I arrived rested and experienced minimal jet leg. The SKY Priority and check in process was a breeze because it’s a one terminal design the whole process was straight forward. It was during the long summer delays and chaos but my business class experience was fantastic because I upgraded. The lounge was relaxing I had a big nook to myself and a family of 4. The bathrooms were maintained and the food and drinks was excellent. The flight crew and ground crew was excellent and the food onboard was decent. Will definitely try them again for the Dreamliners. KLM, Swiss, and Virgin are the European airlines I prefer.
My favorite airport in the world is Juneau, Alaska. Six gates, and you can go from your car in the parking lot through security to your gate in 10 minutes.
My favorite lounge in the world is Delta's relatively new lounge at Haneda, Tokyo Japan. Simply amazing! I also like the KLM lounge profiled in this video.
Loved this video from the first to the last minute. I fly very often with KLM. My next trip to Johannesburg over a couple of weeks and back from Cape Town. The both flights are with 777. I own every KLM ceramic houses. Love it. Thank you for the video

Flown with KLM from Vancouver to Schipol, excellent airline, excellent crew, professional and courteous would never hesitate to fly with them again and hopefully will, absolutely wonderful experience.
Cape Town is one of my favorite cities too. I spent a lot of time there for work and vacations when I lived in the UK. Camps Bay, Chapmans peak, Table Mountain. Also home to one of my favorite seafood restaurants, Panama Jacks which was on the docks (not the Waterfront). Sadly closed now I believe...
Such a well done video. I fly KLM business class a lot due to my work and what you captured is 100% on point. One of the features of the 😊IFE is that you can have your flight tracker displaying on the handset. Quite nifty if you want to watch a movie on the main screen. I must say your videos are very good at capturing the essence of the journey, but also the details. I cannot wait for your Antarctica experience!😊
Best in Europe ? I wouldn't make that claim nowadays given all the issues Schiphol has been experiencing since May 2022. And the capacity cap has been extended to September 2024 ! So US carrierJetBlue unable to get landing rights for a new transatlanic service.
I live with n the UK, so I try to use KLM and did for 10 years when working in Nigeria so it was MD11,s I flew every one, plus I did a AMS-Singapore on a 777 with my wife n daughter. Yeh, I have great memories with KLM flying experience.. plus Duty Free AMS is brilliant. Planning to fly to St Maarten for holidays soon so that going to be a lovely long flight. I love KLM, have always had excellent BC flights with them the service is very good; and I agree with you about Cape Town. It truly has a wonderful glow about it especially against the backdrop of Table Mountain, and the people are warm and welcoming. My goal is to go back to South Africa in 2024 or 2025. Will definitely consider KLM!
Hi!! Beautiful flight. It just amazes me how long flying aircraft can just keep going and going and going. You takeoff, go to rest a few hours later after takeoff, sleep for about 6-8 hours and still have 6-8 more hours to go once you wake up. That is very sharp wow. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
It's never a long enough flight when in business or 1st class 😂. When you get very comfy sleep, good movies, and great food before you know it 10 hrs is gone

My favorite lounge is a toss up between the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt and the Swiss Air First Class Lounge in Terminal E at Zurich Airport (ZRH) which offers an all encompassing experience - capacious lounge facilities, fine dining, excellent drink selection, and my favorite … an extensive tarmac view from a 3,800 square foot terrace. I could spend hours in either lounge 😁
Hi, I flew with KLM 777 last March from AMS to KUL enroute to Australia. The flight was fine, staff excellent but seat, 2-2-2 in business class, not so good. I noticed a few days ago when researching my next visit to Australia that KLM are retro fitting their 777's with an updated version of the 787 seat but with a door on the suite. Hven't managed to find a review of this yet. Great review and keep them coming🙃😊

Expert asked which one is the favourite lounge, well, try to exclude Doha, Dubai and Singapore (they are too good), the favourite lounge should be the Frankfurt airport, it is cozy, and functional. Glad expert enjoyed the flight, we enjoyed the video too, looking next week for Antarctica!!!

I recently flew Business Class on KLM from LAX-AMS on a 787-10. It was my first time experiencing business class on an overseas flight. The experience spoiled me. It's going to be very difficult going back to economy. We now have two KLM Delft houses decorating our dining room.
Flew Amsterdam to bangkok business class last November crew were never seen after to dinner was served. Crew were sitting in the galley the whole time.original flew from yyz to Ams that flight was so so different staff were brilliant.
I love the dutch crew at KLM and I always feel safe with them. They are always helpful and do extra each time I fly. This video makes me miss Netherlands so much. Used to live there couple of years, now in Sweden.
Excellent video as always with fantastic accompanying music. Cape Town is one of those cities that you have to visit, it’s not without its problems like any city but you have to be careful where you go. But the tourist is well catered for in places to visit both on the city and just outside it. If on a wine tour remember the driver must hate wine or abstain from drinking lol
I flew with them only one time. Back in 2017 from TXL via Shipol to LAX in a 747-400. The plane was very old and pretty runned down. Old seats and cabin interiour. Food was ok and the flight very bumpy. But hey we arrived all on one piece....😂
Flew on them from JFK to Budapest. Seats r very comfy. Wonderful staff, very friendly, good food, comfortable beds. I like that they are reasonably priced for business class. Which I consider anything under $4,000 r/t
Great video, one of your best! The airline really makes an effort with their Business Class, in contrast to their mediocre Economy service, you get what you pay for.
I actually got to fly the all business class 737 (officially Boeing BBJ) from AMS-IAH. Weird to do almost 11 hours in a 737. I booked it as a novelty, and I wasn't disappointed.
Just did AMS-ORD-AMS on the 787-10 in business and must say it was outstanding. Great crew there and back and excellent food options. The new business class is great, comfortable seat and sleeps well.

I find KLM BC a bit 'average' since they scrapped the 'Royal Class' a long time ago...That certainly also applies to the food, spirits and the wines...It's a bit 'braaf' ( in Dutch) I think.
I flew with KLM from Amsterdam to New York last year. It was an excellent flight. I really liked the seat and the catering. They are one of my favourite carriers. Because I live in Scotland it is difficult to get direct flights, so I end up in Schiphol quite a lot. It's a large, but easy to find your way around, airport. Enjoyed your review as always.👍
I was scheduled to fly business class on a KLM 787-10 from SFO-AMS last year and at the last minute they switched it out for a 777-300. What a letdown.
