Love the look of those, that bronze on white sand is beautiful.

I've had 3, clearview medium, klock 10" and 8" . I'm 6'2". All caused turbulent air on the hwy past 80. Shaking my helmet on long hwy rides was beyond annoying. Lower speeds they weren't bad. I went back to stock. Clean air hitting my helmet. Id recommend the small clearview. I'd u want a bit more height with out the turbulence. It's 2.5" taller than stock. I got 19k miles on my ST. So I had plenty of time testing them all.

@aspen9062 if you eat your greens plenty my man. The reply was intended for the original question. I've had 4 sheilds on my bike I bought all those taller ones for long touring rides and ended up back at the stock sheild for hwy riding. All the recurve taller sheilds wer tossing my helmet around past 80 pretty badly. I ended up getting the small clearview and it offered a bit more protection but doesn't cause any buffeting. There's not a lot of good information on these different sized sheilds and I've had 4 of them so offering my input before people waste 600$ like I have. The small clearview works great.

On the inside of the faring? There is no vinyl inside or out.

@WeRide2 on the orange shield. The lower section is blacked out where it mounts. Is that a piece of vinyl on the inside of the sheild?

No it's just translucent so the blacked out you see is where it overlaps the faring itself.

@WeRide2 there is a strip of either tint or black vinyl along the bottom 2" of the colored windscreens from klock werks that I'm trying to figure what material it is. You blatantly see it before you installed the sheild. Its an option on there site on the colored sheilds. The colored screens from Somsong custom and Amazon do not have this and you can clearly see the rubber piece where it bolts to the fairing thru the sheild compared to klockwerks. Just trying to figure out if klockwerks uses tint or vinyl in that lower area.

Ok sorry for the delay I see what you were talking about. I don't think its tint, looks more like a vinyl or something, in my mind perhaps to prevent the windshield from getting all scratched up where it overlays on the faring.
