Tbh I will be glad when klopp goes , he is a bit of a joker and whilst he offers a entertainment value and is decent manager the fact remains he really has failed to match the likes of pep , fergie, wenger paisley fagan etc etc . Klopp is a bit of a clown with excuses and hype all part of the problem just why we haven’t kicked on from the prem title and ucl title from the 19/20 21/22 seasons . This season promised so much but once again we bottled it , one Mickey Mouse cup for a big big club like Liverpool is an embarrassment and look at last season that was even worse! And that failure is down to klopp full stop. We have too many players of only average ability. Trent a liability, vvd is no where near the likes of the great defenders we once had , mane left but we kept salah why ? Why have we not signed top players of quality and composure? Mbappe is now leaving psg will Liverpool sign him ? Of course not , was halland ever going to sign for us? Of course not ? Look at Real Madrid and their squad, look at Man City and there squad and now look at arsenal’s squad. We are light years away from being the best and consistently the best . How many players in our first 11 would get in to the great teams of this season? Klopp needs to go for sure and we can only hope we don’t fall the way other teams have done! And if Slot arrives then that is exactly where we will go . We need to off load many players, get the best manager in and recruit players like junior/ mbappe / halland/ and any player what is in the first team at arsenal or Madrid . We need to aim high and aspire to greatness like we saw in the 70s and 80s.
