A rather well-behaved Knapweed Fritillary Melitaea phoebe is shown feeding on Water Mint Mentha aquatica in a woodland clearing in the Vendée, France. This plant is highly attractive to a wide range of pollinators, and its sweet scent is appealing to humans too.
