I greatly enjoy how you explained the game! You were down to earth and fair. It's refreshing to see a review that doesn't have OVER THE TOP editing. Instead it's a calm, sophisticated discussion.

Knave 2e is incredible. Easily my most-played RPG this year (first with the PDF, now with the physical book) and my go-to system. Thanks for covering this. This game deserves a lot of attention. It is amazing.

Thank you for another wonderfully unscripted and rambling first look. The GM and Player "duties" section alone is something that I will be printing and handing out to some of my game groups. The answer to why wisdom is the ranged stat is in the designer commentary. Essentially it was to avoid Dex being a dump stat.

Fair but what system has Dex as dump stat?

@OrcusDorkus I'm not sure, but it is on Pg. 71 under Classlessness. "I've tried to make each ability score as useful as possible to avoid there being an obvious 'dump stat'" I assume he means like in some D&D-type games, Dexterity is for initiative, ranged combat, dodging, etc. It is super useful.

This makes me excited but sad at the same time. 2e looks really great, but if you missed the kickstarter like I did, it seems like you're SoL. Have you heard anything on when it will be available for purchase or (my worry) am I hosed because it was a limited printing for the kickstarter? Questing Beast Blog has said "coming soon" on that for what has to be a year at this point.

Well according to Hurst there are few lingering in Backerkit reply limbo, so not everything has shipped, but keep an eye on his Swordfish Islands web store as he’s fairly quick in getting books up on there after KS fulfillments.

This has been bothering me for a bit: your audio is WAY too clear for a completely unprofessional presentation. There needs to be a washer/dryer running in the background. And maybe even sound like you're talking in a tin can. So you're only semi unprofessional. LOL
