+Mark S Lin still is doing better than average for an NBA player, so he wasn't just hype. And for KP even if he is just hype, he's doing significantly better than Karl Anthony Towns.
+Adrian Delacruz Statistically speaking KAT is out performing KP in terms of scoring, rebounding and efficiency. I wouldn't call that a significant advantage winning ROY for KP. I like Porzingis a lot but his scoring percentage is a bit too low for 7'3 F/C.

You can't get upset with draft selections. you don't know the player or how good he will be. The team have professionals that know what they're doing. Texans fans didn't like the J.J Watt pick. Some Seahawks fans didn't like the Wilson pick look at them now. On the other hand look at JeMarcus Russell, everyone loved that pick...
Just goes to show how two faced sports fans can be when it comes to players who don't look like the stereotype of a good player. I really hope he gets rookie of the year and improves further on. I was surprised that he has been so good this early on, the booing was understandable if you think that it's just more waiting as a Knick fan. Obviously any player will adjust, but people were saying it would take 2-3 years for Porzingis to have an impact and adjust. I'm glad I was wrong and that they were wrong, but the team is just not that good which is what we're seeing now.
