When the Knicks and Pacers square off in Game 1 of their playoff series on Monday night, each team will see some familiar faces. Jalen Brunson became close friends with Tyrese Haliburton on USA Basketball team last summer while OG Anunoby was teammates with Pascal Siakam in Toronto. Anunoby admitted "it will be a little weird" facing Siakam but both players are looking forward to the challenge. Brunson called Haliburton a "great player" and expects a fast-paced series from both teams.

What I love about my Knicks and these Knicks (and what the sports pundits don't realize) is that it's not about size, brute force, and popularity that makes a champion, it's the leadership, focus, and winning mentality that Jalen Brunson and OG brings to elevate his team, that will deliver them as champions. It's about winning the right way- as a team that fights together for each other.

Yeah- he’s great. Just comes across as a normal guy., except he sounds like he knows X & O really well, and he knows how to be constantly agreeable and complimentary of his teammates and the coaches. Just sounds like a really good dude.

His playoff career high is 21 plus he’s playing behind Siakam. If he’s so great he would have been a starter over Randle or Siakam but he’s not. Thibs will review the tapes and find ways to shut him down. There’s reason why Knicks didn’t use him a lot like Pachiuwa. Pachiuwa kept quiet and Obi open his big mouth to complain. Pachiuwa is better player than Obi where he adds more value in defense rebounding, can play the 3-4-5 spot. Obi showboats miss dunks and can’t even play defense or provide what Pachiuwa does

Indiana shoots the most threes this season. It’s gonna come down to perimeter shooting. Knicks gotta play man on man this series I believe. If New York wins, it’s because Jalen is the antithesis of New York. The media is already writing the Pacers off. It’s always like this. The Knicks aren’t some longstanding defending champion. They’re a great team, just like the Pacers.

I’m low key worried about Myles Turner because Mitch and IHart aren’t the best with stretch bigs and Myles Turner can get hot from 3 at any given time. Precious, on the other hand, I have all the confidence in the world he would lock up Myles Turner, so we’ll see what Thibs does. Precious would also be more effective if it does turn into a fast paced series
