Bro what a fantastic job in putting your collection together! It is mindblowing! Enjoy the fruits of your labor! One day I hope to have a collection half as nice as yours!
Dude, I have 15 Hinderers, a dozen CRK’s, 30 ZT’s, 40+ Spydies, and a wall of Benchmades, plus a couple hundred assorted other models starting from when I first started collecting in 1975, but I’m in awe of your collection, and the beautiful customizations you’ve done on most of them. Clearly you not only know how to pimp them yourself, but know where to get these amazing aftermarket parts and scales. I love seeing the ZT’s the most, especially the 808, and the scales on that 801. I’m going to have to step it up as I don’t even have any Wharncliffe XM-18’s, and have had a hard time finding any other than the factory G10 scales, as they are always out of stock. I’ve also missed several of these exclusive models, and skipped others as I don’t buy tip down carry knives, and don’t have the guts to drill into them to convert. (If you do any custom work pls let me know as I have a couple that need attention, including a Harold Corby custom folder from back in the day.) Anyway, kudos to you, this is seriously the best all around collection of customs and semi-customs I’ve seen on RU-vid. 👍🤟👏. Thanks for sharing.
That means a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. You've been collecting longer that I've been alive! 😆Believe it or not, the collection is even more insane now. I sold some a bought several that I'm not willing to show online. Definately try some customization though! It's a fun way to keep things interesting and even improve functionality. I just turned my holt haptic into a warncliff and it worked out awesome!
Thanks! No need to dissassemble, just slapped in on a piece of wood on the drill press. Make sure to tape blade or clamp for safety. Stay below the backspacer and use a 4-40 tap. Easy peasy!
@@steelovan oh sick! thank you so much, I think I might have to splurge on that item. Nice collection btw, you have some really cool stuff, I also love the case setup, I actually just purchased the foam inlay for the pelican 1400 case as I have a spare case laying around with nothing inside it.
They are sweet knives. Look around. Sometimes you can find them cheaper on the secondary. I use the exchange on Bladeforums. Don't forget to enjoy the chase, it is half the fun of this hobby!
@@reelintheminfishin2700 I hear you, but don't think that's entirely true. Personally, I get a ton of enjoyment using and owning them after the aquisition. I have some that I've had for 4 years plus and still appreciate them.
@@steelovan well yea I love all of my knives personally my fav is a sog termines that I got for Christmas because my grandparents had it special engraved but thank you for replying
@@sunnyrachelsson3169 It's not about quality. It's a choice. Short answer is: China doesn't play fair so I find zero interest in anything made there and try to keep my dollars in the states where I can. How you choose to spend your money is your buisiness.
@@sunnyrachelsson3169 lol more for us then, quality is quality, no matter where it’s made or comes from, Reate and We are top notch, two of my favorites
