Lord have mercy at the knives on that table. Would have loved to been there discussing knives. I love their videos too where they all go out to eat and talk and trade knives. You really do feel that your right there with them. Great video brother and great pocket dump from everyone. Always good to see Wade. Yall have something special. 3 generations talking knives. Sure wish i had that. God bless
Love the stories!! So now you can’t even bring a “non-knife” to school. I was born in 70 like the Dr. and carried one every day all 12 years, teachers would even borrow them sometimes. Times have changed!!
I am with Travis, i looove the videos of Doc and his buddies trading and talking knives, this reminded me of that a bit!! What awesome knives y’all got on that table!! Thanks for sharing y’all!!
Great video. Love to see a group of fellas get together and talk about the value of a knife, and just share a passion. And love to see the younger generation getting involved. Subbed to the young man’s channel last week. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
Some of the Remington musket grandaddys had the black bone. I have one and it has one spot about the size of a dime where the dye didn't take as well and goes from black to brown to cream. I think it adds character or something. Could be wrong, but i think they were made by Camillus.
I wish there was a way i could get Eric a picture of a Collins machete I have that I found. I'm almost positive it's a WWII machete but there's no identifiable markings on the blade. I do however know that it's got very good metal in the blade because it's razor sharp. Great video. Always enjoy watching the 3 of y'all together.
Just saw this. I'll email you a few pictures when I get home and I thank you sir. Subscribed to yours and Crawford's channel. Tell him to stay out of RU-vid jail lol.
Just subscribed to your channel after seeing Mr.Wade and Knife Doctor video. I have the 1x30 bench sander from harbor freight and for 50bucks you can't beat it. I have a shop and a baldor bench polisher and a delta bench grinder but I want just a decent bench grinder just for the fiber wheels maybe 6"" diameter. What grinder would you recommend for small knives to larger old hickory kitchen knives. But main thing is what and where to get fiber finishing wheels. I don't want the 3" diameter grinder. Just for cleaning and restoring knives I have and some I have from my grandpa and his dad. I look forward to watching the videos. Preciate ya!
Thanks for subscribing. If you already have a 6” Delta. Which is a great grinder. Do like I do. Make one side the fiber wheel and the other side a grinding wheel and or a wire wheel. If I remember right, I get the polishing wheels from Harbor Freight. It’s been awhile since I bought one. I got a couple when I got them.
Hey guys, I was wondering if one of you guys may have a Schatt and Morgan #10 Rooster knife? Some sold on eBay 5or6 years ago. They went for 300-1200, depending on the handles. They got a main blade, a tie string cutter, and a spur saw. I was lucky enough to get 2 of them but somehow, they grew wings and flew off. The most similar knife on eBay now is a Napanoch Dixie Barlow. I just don't like the handles on those. Now there is some Queen knock off on there as well, but that ain't my style. The ones that sold years ago there was 10 of each one of these sold. Wood, Stag,Burnt Stag,Worm groove bone,Winterbottom bone,Pearl,Mammoth tusk,Abalone . There was 2 more types and I can't remember now. There was a total of 100 knives altogether that sold. I would like to find a wood or a stag handle again. I seen a couple that sold on aapk but I was to late. Thanks very much guys!!
