This knife is gorgious , beautiful, but these small round holes in the blade are really the dumbest idea for a knife, at this price! At least we can imagine what will happen if you make a lever action with it
how comes that in such an expensive knife the bearings are metal but not ceramic=( why dont they put washers in it if they consider it to be a tactical knife?
Hey guys, I was wondering if one of you guys may have a Schatt and Morgan #10 Rooster knife? Some sold on eBay 5or6 years ago. They went for 300-1200, depending on the handles. They got a main blade, a tie string cutter, and a spur saw. I was lucky enough to get 2 of them but somehow, they grew wings and flew off. The most similar knife on eBay now is a Napanoch Dixie Barlow. I just don't like the handles on those. Now there is some Queen knock off on there as well, but that ain't my style. The ones that sold years ago there was 10 of each one of these sold. Wood, Stag,Burnt Stag,Worm groove bone,Winterbottom bone,Pearl,Mammoth tusk,Abalone . There was 2 more types and I can't remember now. There was a total of 100 knives altogether that sold. I would like to find a wood or a stag handle again. I seen a couple that sold on aapk but I was to late. Thanks very much guys!!
Which book did you and Eric get that you were talking about? I just bought The Complete Book of U.S. Military Pocket Knives by Michael W. Silvey, hoping that was it.
Tell Wade a fellow submariner here. I was on the USS Andrew Jackson SSBN 619B. Made 7 patrols on the Jackson. I hope some day I can meet your dad. I have gotten into knifes a lot this last year after retirement. Keep up the videos.
Well I enjoyed the hell out of these videos (part 1+2 I mean), and I really hope to see y'all sit down together again. Would love to see one with your boy in it as well, anyways I'm subscribed now so when that happens I'll find out pretty quickly. Thanks fellas
You sharpened the non serrated edge just like you would normally. And the serrated edge you have to use a Diamond rod. KME sells them also. Or you can take it out the clamp and do it by hand with a Diamond rod.
Awesome video, so excited to see yall handle modern knifes. Thats what got me into knifes then GEC got me into the world of traditional and i found knife doctor. Knife krazy is taking back to the modern world now. 😂
Loving the content fellas, please keep it coming :). Mr Wade is becoming quite the movie star ;), anyways that's all. God bless and keep you and yours.
