Will soon be available at my new website at www.zakiworkshop.com/
I wanted to make a Sakha knife with a double fuller, so i made this one. The blade is made from spring steel and the handle is made from Scandinavian masur birch. I am super pleased with how it turned out! The blade is super sharp and beautiful. This knife will be available for sale at my homepage as soon as i have made a sheath for it.
Hope you like watching the video, and if you have any questions about it feel free to ask away in the comments. Thanks for watching!

Thank you. I am inspired to build knives. I always wanted to, but never thought I could. You just showed me anyone can do this. I will teach my kids as I go.

Hey Zaki. I enjoyed your video, as usual. You and I have very similar methods. I do not have a drill press or a band saw, but I do have a stone bench grinder, a belt sander and a hand drill. I usually split a small tree branch and whittle it to shape for the plugs I generally coal-forge repurposed high carbon steel for the blades but I have used W1 drill rod in the past. I have a hole-in-the-ground forge that I really want to get back to soon. Keep up the skillful work, brother. I am weak on sheath making so I hope to get some pointers from watching you. I like the way you put the fullers in your blade! Thanks.
