Another Japanese Chef's knife! This shape is inspired by Santoku knives typical Japanese-style vegetable knife and a general utility bevel geometry.
The steel is 440 C Stainless Steel. The handle is made of ebony.
The pins are copper and titanium guard.

It's an oilstone...Use it by attaching it as a superglue.

beautiful blade, but It think you should have gone the Full Tang path, because the Santoku design is blade heavy to begin with and it needs more weight on the handle to increase balance. Also a full tang configuration is more robust and adds "life time" to the blade.

I used a little weighty Ebony for the weight balance and made the handle a little longer...^^

That knife is more like a bunka or kiritsuke, the tip is not from a santoku
