In many countries, including the UK, certain knives can be legally carried for various purposes.
In this self defence video, we look at knife vs knife self defence situations. Where things have gone terribly, terribly wrong, someone is threatening you with a knife and you have had to rely on your legally carried knife as an improvised self defence tool to defend yourself.
The biggest concern from those who wish to learn about how to use a legal knife to defend themselves, as with any other improvised weapon, is the concern of killing the attacker or seriously injuring them, which could lead to moral dilemmas and long term prison sentences if self defence is difficult to legally prove.
That’s why in this video, we draw upon Filipino martial arts combined with real life knife fighting experiences to demonstrate and explain to you how to defend yourself using a knife without killing or seriously injuring your attacker.
