I love the fact this guy lets kids and admirers hop in and take pictures and fantasize for "1- second" - just to have that kid's dream come true. That he is willing to share his car with the public and not be some "you touch my car and I"ll break your face" type speaks volumes over his character. Hope he enjoys this car for many years to come.

It's awesome that you share this with so many others. It looks amazing. I really miss the show. I watched it every week when I was a teen. The pilot originally aired when I was 13. I still enjoy watching the re-runs.

Love it bro. Its cleaner than original. Love the red lights. Some guys have them go too fast, does not look good. Wish you would take some night / dark videos too. E.g, open Garage door with so dark nothing can be seen. Then...Wham....Red lights....then pop up head lights... He he.....I think I am still stuck in 84.

I know this is 4 years old but I have a 1991 Firebird that I love and admittedly I wouldn't do that to it......HOWEVER....I'm sure glad that there are people out there that will. Well done, man! Great looking KITT!

Doesn't matter to me what came before or after. The original KITT is still the coolest TV car ever, for me. I'd build my own, in a heartbeat, if I could. I will probably have to settle for pimping out my 05 Montana with an onboard PC and some KITT reminiscent features.

This car is awesome. I loved watching Knight Rider when I was in my mid to late teens. However, the most awesome car that has ever been on any screen, is that absolute beast that Max had in Mad Max and the Road Warrior. Switchable blower! Love it!

OK - real cars, I'll give you quicker, but if the Holden had a 3:55 rear gear, it was limited to about 125 MPH. The T/A had overdrive and most likely a 3:23 rear, or a 3:08 allowing eventually a faster car. 170+ at redline. -also- the blower was FAKE in the movie car.

We're starting to talk on 3 different levels here - * Factory stock : the Holden wins * as actually prepped for the movie : the Holden is quicker and prolly alot more fun, the T/A may have a higher top speed. * "Movie Fantasy" : KITT all the way. 250 MPH, bulletproof, you name it. Max DID have a bigger gas tank. I also heard the carbs were inside the "fake" blower housing.

Engine sounds good. I doubt KITT could bark the tires from its 1982 crossfire injected V8 like your car did at 3:20. 👍

The most impressive part of this particular tv car was that dash board. My two personal favourite tv cars were the 60'sBatmobile and the Starsky Ford Gran Torino.

I remember when Knight Rider was on tv during the 1980s. I loved the car, perhaps more than what it did during the series. I loved how it had been modified to look different from production Pontiac Firebirds of the time.

It's "Super Pursuit Mode" (SPM), actually. Funny thing about the DeLorean from Back to the Future. Michael Scheffe worked on that (along with others) and he also designed the original K.I.T.T. Very talented and fan friendly guy. He's the inspiration for many replica builders today and a good friend of mine. Great video!

Fabulous K.I.T.T. Knight Rider replica and the car is almost like the real thing from the all-time favorite T.V. show throwback from the 1980's. I have to give you a ton of credit on building your K.I.T.T. replica where credit is due. "Awesome!" :-)
