What’s up brother trucker…I greatly appreciate your videos…I received my CDL last year, went on the road for Butler Transport for 3 months but the timing wasn’t right. I’ve been doing local but I have my foundation in order and am going back Otr for Butler next week. I started my trucking journey in prison where I graduated a trucking class and also became a professional service dog trainer.I adopted a dog yesterday from the prison I was once in and will be taking that dog on the road with me to be trained as a companion animal for someone needing a professionally trained companion animal( my business plan is geared toward truckers since so many suffer from depression and loneliness while on the road)..My secondary goal is to become a lease operator and your videos are excellent.Thank you for sharing your journey with me!!..be safe my friend!!

You will learn alot about running your business at landstar. It's a good stepping stone to getting your own authority. On the other hand some folks want to just drive the truck and not worry about the back office work.

You’re lucky man. As a company driver along with many others here I’m sitting waiting on loads and when I’m fortunate enough to get one it’s a short run. Been sitting and waiting more than driving here lately. It’s Easter weekend and I’m stuck at a truck stop hoping that today my shipper has enough workers to load me. I had a 10am appointment yesterday to get loaded only to be sent away because of no dock workers and was told I might not get loaded again today. I sent in the macros and haven’t heard a peep from dm. Stay safe bro. Good fortune to you.

You are not an owner operator You are still a lease operator, even if you own the vehicle Owner versus lease is not defined by vehicle ownership, but by MC
