This new Mcfarlane Knightfall is by far the best, without a doubt! And I love plastic/rubber capes so for me this Batman is even better looking and better than the Mafex Knightfall yet to come... 😉👍🏻
I dont normally like to double up ehen it comes to dc multiverse characters but I can justify these two pretty easily; Hush can stand with all of the batman characters, him being larger than most of them works for me, and knightfall can stand with all of his super friends.
I think knightfall is better, hush's bigger size makes his articulation feel worse imo, like a titan scale figure, it feels clunkier, as great of a figure as he is, we got hasbro-ed, with a better scaled better line ready figure released in knightfall as always I love your reviews!! keep it up!
It would be cool to see that Knightfall figure with black instead of blue. I don't know if that would be accurate to any version of Batman but it would be a cool look for a repaint.
Hush is the hands down winner for me. Not a big fan of the hinky right shoulder but he looks more "finished" to me...more like a collectable figure. Knightfall comes off as one of those figures I got as a kid...too much shiny plastic. That's my two cents for two figures. As always a fun to watch presentation that helped to inform my choice. Keep the great work.👌✌👍
If they did Knghtfall in black with a slightly darker grey, I'd buy that just like I did the black version of Hush Batman today. I don't mind having multiple Batmen, he's my favorite superhero and because I need one to go with the Batfamily, pre-Flashpoint Justice League and Rebirth Justice League but he can't be bigger than Superman and Martian Manhunter. That ComicCon Knightfall would have been awesome but oh well.
I Love The Knightfall Batman Its Just The Perfect Kind Of Batman For Me And I Love The Colors And How Light They Are. I like The HUSH Too But When I Think Of Batman Knighfall Is What Comes To Mind
Hush batman will always be my main batman though i have this knightfall arrive this afternoon but i didnt wanna open it for now since ive been looking to trade or sell this for other McFarlane toys that i want. knightfall batman sure is one of the best McFarlane has done, i agree with the cape why mcfarlane sculp the cape like this LOL this will be the downside of this figure IMO
I like Hush's colors better , but the Knightfall buck is more appealing to me ,so if I had to choose it would be Knightfall , even though im not a massive fan of the blue/gray Batman . Prefer black and gray . So here's hoping they do the Knightfall Batman in a darker Hush color palette.
Got KnightFall Blue & Black, got Hush Black but i can't find Blue anywhere! I can't decide between any of them. I love all 4! God I want the Blue Hush so bad!!
I think at long last we have the definitive Batman body mold in Knightfall. Scales perfectly with other league members and the Batfamily. Not to big, not to small. Lean but not to slender. Hopefully the Batman figure that will see reuse that everyone will be happy about and getting their definite eye's mind of Batman on this buck.
Do the trunks swap well? With the upcoming black knightfall repaint coming I was planning out a definitive batman kitbash and I just like pouches more than capsules on a bat utility belt. Was thinking of using a black hush repaint but It's hard to tell from pictures and stills alone if they would fit well
Unfortunately, when I pulled the legs off of Knightfall, I found that his trunks are glued in place so I was not able to swap them. Sorry! If the black and gray one does not have them glued, I will do that swap for you in my review video
Knightfall all the way. I love the hush Batman but the cape looks terrible when it comes done to it, he’s way way too big for nearly any other DC figures to look good next to, and despite what you said it lacks in articulation compared to Knightfall. Knightfall is definitely the winner overall
I prefer Hush. Knightfall has something strange going on with his stance. His thighs kind of meet at a triangle and you can't straighten his legs. Like you said, the colors are too bright. Still a nice fugure.
My friend got me this and I love it. Now if only the buck would have a black and gray color combo with the Hush logo to resemble the 2006 Lego Batman minifig
I agree about a grey in between them. I like the knight fall Batman logo more. I missed out on these so have no blue suited Batman. Three Jokers is my favorite though. I got one I turned all black.
I like Hush more. Hush Bats looks more like a superhero than just a cosplayer in spandex. If Hush Bats was in Knightfall’s scale, it would be unbeatable. I’d still pick Hush Bats all day every day. Now, I really wish classic Superman was made in Hush Batman mold. I would’ve been so happy!
Hush for me. Mcfarlane and I have a love/hate relationship lol. That’s absolutely ridiculous that Hush Supes is that much smaller, by a wide margin. Then again, now that Knightfall has that new body and McFarlane is releasing classic versions. I’m a consumer for now 😂. Great video!
I personally really like the Knightfall figure, aside from the cape and the shade of gray of course, but I can definitely see why he wouldn't be everyone else's cup of tea. Arkham Knight is still an incredible Batman
Of all the figures not to come with detailed boot treads. Seems like a glaring omission for the Hush. The only good thing about the Hush Batman is the exemplary headsculpt. The torso is terrible. Seems weird that the most iconic Batman design in recent memory didn't get a new sculpt.
Knightfall Batman is my favorite Batman McFarlane toys has made and it just dethroned the DC Direct one I bought a few years ago. Yeah, I wish the grey was a tad darker, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. Fact is I would totally but a black version of the same figure, and I hate buying the same sculpt of anything.
My only complaint about the Knightfall Batman Batman is that it looks nothing like any version of Batman from the Knightfall story. It's perfect as a Killing Joke Batman though.
It looks like the cape is a separate piece glued onto Knightfall Batman. Replacing it with a wired cloth cape would really dial him up. That aside, this will be my first Mcfalane figure. He actually looks well-proportioned and I love the broader chest and more defined musculature. Hush's biceps look flat and skinny. The torso looks lumpy and kind of narrow. I don't like how the briefs stretch out to the sides a little and the shoulder drop just kills the look. For classic Batman, Knightfall just looks way better. I can get past the colors. It's not perfect, but it's close to being the perfect definitive Batman from a domestic company.
I am definitely going to be keeping an eye out to see what custom capes people make for Knightfall. I just got one for Hush and I am excited to swap it out
Such a great review/comparison! Didn't expect it to end in a tie, but it was still a great match. These figures both seem amazing in their own ways, but I personally prefer Knightfall (I'm just a sucker for the classic blue and gray Batman), and I might be getting it for my birthday this Saturday.
Yeah, I really do need to start catching up on head swap videos I have promised. It's a tricky balance when so much new stuff comes out all that time. Also, I try to limit myself to one Batman or Batman related video a week because there just so much of him, you know? But I'll prioritize Knightfall. I did get that five-way Knightfall Versus out since then, though.
@@5POAFigureReviews Sorry if I came off as a dickhead, to be honest I just really want to see how the Knightfall head looks on the lee bermejo page punchers body. It’s my favorite Batman but I hate the snarly head it came with. Idk why McFarlane can’t just understand that a basic neutral face expression head is a must with every figure.
I grew up in the 70s so the figures from Megos and Super Powers all had cloth goods in them because with them came the vehicles and playsets 😊@@5POAFigureReviews
Hello there! I was just wondering if you would be able to send me some pictures of how the movie Shazam figure's hands look on the Hush Superman figure. Also how General Zod, Lex Luthor and the Batman of Zur-eh-Arrh scale with Jay Garrick. Thank you!
I am 100% grabbing Knightfall. I think he'd go perfect with my Bat-family. Luckily I live in the UK and we always get the figures last, so I'll be sure to grab him soon as he appears in my favourite shop
It might make more sense if I say that I am 15, but I read Batman Knightfall just a couple years ago and fell in love with the blue and grey. Before this I only cared for black and gray.
so glad i preordered Knightfall on a whim, he looks amazing in hand! I think Hush is amazing, probably one of the best but Knightfall is just so classic and scales so much better with other figures.
I will never understand why he makes the fins come off the sides. It’s just wrong. Period. The only reason they’d look that way in art is the artist fudging it to make them apparent as an iconic part of the suit
I hoped you review the Sinestro corps Batman next and not to forget to compare him to both versions of superman that is page punchers and hush like before alright pal😊
You'll be happy to know I'll be showing Page Punchers as one of my go-to Superman comparisons moving forward. As for Sinestro, mine hasn't arrived yet, but I will do just as soon as I get it.
It was pretty suprising to see you end the versus in a tie. I thought knightfall was going to win but it does makes sense for it to end in a tie. I’m still struggling to find knightfall Batman unfortunately. Nonetheless, I can’t wait to see you combine both batgirls and do the headswaps with knightfall Batman. Also when’s that nightwing versus? Keep up the great work Jason!
