Thank you for posting this. Even though I should know that all putties go through different phases during curing, it's always good to be reminded of it. Your use of oil is also a freaking awesome tip. Cheers!

mix a small amount of Greenstuff in with the milliput, that will reduce the tearing and also remain sandable

Indeed! We will get there, but right now we are focusing on one medium at a time for simplicity.

Hey man! Your channel has such awesome work. You deserve so much more attention. So helpful and inspiring. Also, Im pretty new to the hobby and i was wondering what kind of oil you use to work with the milliput. Does it matter?

This is just what I was looking for! Is it much harder to do if you don't already have a collar to work with like that space marine torso? Looking to give my Sisters of Silence gorgets

Roll a log of material into a line and affix it where you want the collar. let cure. Now you have a base to sculpt on

For reference's sake, how long do you mix your milliput for at a time? Mine has a habit of not hardening enough.

CA joke aside it is a skin irritant and with prolonged use without glove can cause you to develop a harsh reaction with contact. Also that's sensitive skin or not just depends on the person but that alone means folks should wear gloves when working with milliput. Not enough Hobby nerds mention this so this comment is mainly for folks reading through.
