i used to play the map where the army of the enemy was bugged and never attacked you. i used it to play it as a kind of city management game. not ever for the warfare. i love it
When the game was too hard to beat when you were a kid and didn’t know strategie. But now you do and can finally beat the game. This brings you so much happiness the good oll times! The nostalgia ❤
These melodies are hard-wired to my brain after countless hours spent playing K&M (mostly Introduction chapter, because I was a weird kid). Thanks for the upload.
i do not know how and why i m so connected with this music and game. I remember myself trying to draw this map on the desk in my school.wish i was a kid again.
Chega doer o coração. Esse jogo chegou na minha vida de um modo inesperado e logo me conquistou na infância. Hoje as músicas são uma recordação do tempo que eu passava horas me divertindo e construído minha vila/reino.
Funny thing is the music perceived as medieval is in fact more Renaissance in style ;-) And the original KAM game uses Mozart's Variations in A-Major theme ^^ Still, it's nice to listen to, even after so many years. Thanks for the upload!
This was one the greatest games I ever played. Besides games like Fallout 1,2 and 3, Icewind Dale,Starcraft,Baldur's Gate, Warcraft 3,GTA 3 and GTA Vice City I never had such a great gameplay experience as in Knights & Merchants where you spend hours really having fun in single player. This soundtrack I still consider the best I've encountered. I happened to listen to it in 2001 with my first good headphone that I owned. Since then, when this headphone broke, I spent almost a decade searching for a headphone that would reproduce this soundtrack the way I listented it with that headphone. Only this year I managed to do it, after going through a lot of knowledge about calibration headphones and matching different curves, such as free field and diffuse field. My search has finished!!
Wie die Zeit vergeht :D Wenn ich die Augen schließe fühle ich mich wie vor 20 Jahren in meinem Kinderzimmer vor dem 133mhz Computer und Röhrenbildschirm :D
+WhyStuffIsGreat There is a mod for it, an ''HD'' Mod, to make the game look SO good then ever before, you can zoom in and out this time, and play the game on 1920x1080, even higher. Also all soundtracks included, cant miss them. It did not came with the Steam version, but this mod makes the game like you have never seen before. So you can upgrade your steam version. Its possible.
Wrong Turn i bought it on steam but the hd version doenst work proparly get half the screen to the left side and i cant adjust it :'( ( its not my pc btw) any advice bc love to play this game in hd
Sorry for not answering, mate. ^^ Have been on vacation for five weeks or some, if you still need information or websites, i may be able to still help you out if you are still interested, mate. ^^ Good day.
I love this game. I'm Game Developer and I work with talented Graphics Designer and I thought maybe I could start similar project from scratch. Tell me what do You think? It would be great cooperate with community to make similar game based on Kam.
+Captain Aardvaark Well at least for some of the pieces I know 100% that they are not. Although it's quite a long time ago I can still remember when we did them ;-) I am quite surprised that the game is still alive and kicking and the music means so much to some people.
Holy shit! I was so busy with course work I didn't notice! Not gonna lie- the music was fantastic in the game! Anytime I hear one of the tracks it immediately takes me back to the many fun hours spent playing KaM! Super catchy, easy and fun to listen to music! Congrats on a fantastic score and thanks for all the great times!!
oh man. This game. I loved this game so much as a kid. The music is fantastic, and instantly takes me back to the many wonderful hours spent working on a perfect town build, then CHARGE!-ing an enemy encampment. And those combat only levels? So many hours spent tweaking and mastering just the right technique!
Thanks a lot for uploading those great tunes =)! KaM will forever be in my heart. I enjoyed playing it for hours and hours when I was little. Even now I can still enjoy to play it over again every once in couple of years =D.
