Based off the 2003 Game of the Year, "Knights of the Old Republic". Thousands of Years before the Empire, the Sith ruled the Galaxy. Leading the attacks on the Republic, Darth Revan is ambushed by a small strike force of Jedi.
This test subject film was created in hopes to create a vision for a larger scale KotOR movie in the future. Keep an eye out for updates!

Sorry, but I think you got Revan's personality wrong. He wasn't the typical sith-conqueror/slaughterer. He mastered all aspects of the force, light AND dark side. His actual target was to unify the galaxy against the true sith, lead by Darth Viciate. That's why he presented himself as Sithlord. To make an enemy image.

dave rectenwal As Mikal (aka the Disciple) said in KotoR 2: Revan only attacked systems the weakened the Republic: Systems with corrupt governments, systemsthat went banrcupt and required financial etc. The only reason why nearly noone recognized this is because Malak took over and made the Empire way more brutal.

+J Giesen (NerdWana) At this point in time Revan was mostly if not only the dark lord, his balance only came after the revelation brought on by pieces of memory then Malak just saying plainly "You cannot hide from what you once were Revan, recognize that you were once the dark lord and know that I have taken your place" and finally reborn on Dromund Kaas. Come on in lore, characters are not declared they are built over time, plus when this was made the events beyond the outer rim (Vitiate) were not widely known.

Hold on, let me pick your entire comment apart Darth Revan - Did more, lived through more, was a master of both the dark and the light. Vader - Was more powerful with the robotic limbs. 'Old Sith'- Nihilus has the ability to drain life and the force, and his very voice could wound. Sion suffered through extreme pain and dealt with it without robotic limbs, making him sorta immortal. Malgus had an unnatural amount of strength, and fought with such ferocity that even the greatest Jedi were beaten.

It would be so great if there will be a movie based on the game "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic". There should be actually two movies, you know: one based on the first game of KotOR and the other one based on the second game, in which you have Darth Sion, Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya. I think I ask too much, but that would show millions and millions of Star Wars fans all around the world what happened thousands of years before the original movies made by George Lucas.

@ultimathewarrior Not anymore, according to Drew Karpyshyn who wrote KOTOR 1, helping with TOR, and wrote the Revan noval coming out soon, Revan is male and finshed by stopping Malek and saving the Republic. As for the Exile, it's in several reference books, that call The Exile "her" or "she".

What are you talking about? The Jedi do not fight the emperor. It is merely just another voice. No Jedi can rival the power of the emperor. And nobody every said Revan was invisible, we can see him just fine. We did see somebody type invincible but that is an entirely different thing.

Out of all the Sith Lords I've seen, the only ones that even slightly scare me are Revan here, and Darth Phobos (Phobos can tap into your deepest fears using her Force-fueled psychic powers, hence her name being based on the word "phobia").

@FinalFlash1000 a young Yoda! Man I didn't thought of that. More Yoda would be awesome :) BTW I meant that epsiode VII, VIII & IX are prequels to the 6 main epsiodes. so these 3 films is about The Old Republic and works as a prequel trilogy to the prequel trilogy (I, II & III)

Which is an irrelevant argument as Anakin didn't reach his potential but Luke most likely did seeing as he has been around for 40 years studying the force, and already has greater feats than anyone else. Also Luke is stated to have unparalleled aptitude with the lightsaber.

Something tells me Darth Revan was the Darth Sidious (the Emperor) of his time... maybe a little powerful, considering his Dark Side skills in the Force. From what I know and saw in the Star Wars episodes, Sidious only used lightning and his light saber only in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

He was a Sith Lord, and a Jedi Master respectfully. It felt like Darth Vader was stronger than when he was just Anakin, with the robotic limbs atleast. Sidious is not the only true master of the dark side, that's BS and you know it. Same thing goes to Luke. If anything, Luke is probably more of a lesser Jedi compared to some others considering he was the master of the jedi council and yet was married, with kids! I'll admit, I didn't know that Sidious could use Drain though.

Anyone who keeps up with the books and games knows that the Sith became weak over the ages due to apprentices ganging up and killing the more powerful Sith Lords. And those Sith often died without revealing their secrets. This changes after Darth Bane but it doesn't change the amount of power (knowledge) that was lost forever. Sith like Exar Kun, Freedon Nadd, Ajunta Pall, Naga Sadow, Marka Ragnos, Revan, Malak or The Sith Emperor were much more powerful then Vader.

Alright, first off, Kel Dor don't speak Ithorian, especially not in the voice of one. And second, no repeat of the episode 3 "Force push each other away at the same time" thing. That's only funny the first time, and it gets old right after that. The lightsaber fighting was decent, though not the best I've seen. Could have involved more fighting with the lightsabers than with Force powers.

Indurok You are right about everything, but you seem to forget that Revan was so much more than a Jedi/Sith or someone who uses a lightsaber as a toy. He was a warrior, a general, a philosopher and a student of the Force, both Light and Dark Side. I believe this is what the owner of the channel wanted to represent. You are right in all the things you said, but still, I believe this was the main plot of the video: Revan´s identity.

Edmond Dàntes Plus, I tried to start up the game today, and I tried to exit the game because of something I forgot to do, and all I saw was a black screen with the windows taskbar. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't exit out of the game or use the task manager to stop it. So I had to restart my computer. So screw that game.

That is a misconception. While yes Vader's abilities are lacking in so far as Revan's, Traya's, Vitiate's, and other VERY powerful force users go, his abilities could match those of say Darth Sion though his tendency to, you know, NOT DIE may hamper Vader. But Vader could take the likes of Malgus, Bastila, (MAYBE) Meetra Surik, etc. Vader, while not perfect. Became better in his abilities than he had been (Not potential.) due to his need to refine his skills around his 'injuries'.

reavan was a genius when it came to dueling and as far as his force powers it was said he was like looking into the heart of the force is force powers was like a hurricane of force he had several speed feats and etc you should look up some more on revan he practically is god amd the sith that destroyed planets name is Darth Nihilus people died or begin to die just by being in close proximity to him

oldkreia if you fought one of the ancient sith you would see that your famed jedi masters are like children swinging toys there have been sith that destroy planets merely by standing on it like luke is strong and everything but dont say he would walk all over these guys lol anakin could have been the strongest ever but he lost his limbs which detracts from his ability to use the force

He's right about the Sidious and Luke thing, George Lucas ruined it by telling us that Sidious is the strongest Sith Lord, and Luke is nearly a god with the force in SW Literature.

Dark empire sourcebook.And I am saying that, truly mastering the either force is almost impossible or may actually in fact be impossible,but Sidious and Luke excluding the ones and Aboleth are the closest to that. Which Sidious came back by will alone, no other sith has stopped them self going into chaos without an anchor point. Obi-wan love was Luke, Yoda and Qui-gons was love for life, yes Qui-Gon taught him after. He's able to match Sidious, who fights faster than other sith and jedi can see.

Stated where? You're telling me that no one else mastered the Dark Side. The Sith who got killed by his apprentice by being picked up (Probably thanks to the robotic limbs) and thrown into a pit of some sort. Darth Bane, he made the rule of two but he didn't master the dark side, Revan too? Also- Obi-Wan had a force ghost, as did Yoda, they stuck to the Jedi Code. Revan loved. Luke's just not setting a good example by his and Mara's marriage in my opinion. And i doubt Luke's the best at dueling.

Its stated Sidious is the only person to have tamed the dark side, which is basically saying he is the only person to master it, and no Yoda is the most powerful up to his point and he never mastered it completely. Old Republic jedi could marry that changed after the hyper space war, in fact love is the most powerful weapon to beat the dark side, also its how you become a force ghost you have to love. And Lukes force feats and dueling feats are just above anyone else, not really debatable.

He did not do more than Sidious or Luke, and he mastered neither side, despite what Revan himself said he didn't. Sidious is the only one to truly master the dark side and Luke the light. I said if vader didn't lose his limbs he would have been the most powerful which is canon. Sidious can drain in fact Sidious did it on bigger scale. Vitiate and Sidious and anyone who knows drain are immortal. The best jedi of that time, Malgus is just below Vader in my opinion.

Sidious was never a jedi, so how can he be a fallen jedi. You just try doing your research, Bane started the rule of two, and every one part of that was a sith. But if you want to go by the species sith then neither revan or Sidious are a sith. But the sith become an order, either Sidious are revan aren't sith or they both are. And the correct answer is they both are, also Revan was a fallen jedi turned sith who then went back to light side after.

Effortlessly bring down an AT-AT, use electric judgement to kill instantly, probe the mind of 5 planets at the same time. Move faster than other jedi can see, achieve oneness. Defeat the most powerful sith at his most powerful, become immovable so that not even the black hole at the centre of the galaxy could move him. Create force light strong enough to repel someone as powerful as Aboleth.When they do all that and more then you can say they are as powerful,they havent done half as good as that

You really have no idea what you are on about if you claim he is the last jedi left. There are hundreds of Jedi when he is Grand Master. Yes and Lucas has said Luke could become what Anakin was meant to be. Yeah tell me when Revan or Anakin, move a star destroyer, manipulate black holes, destroy a mountain sized building, turn a 1.5 km ship invisible, turn a ship the size of the millenium falcon invisible and creating a duplicate at the same time. Walk on lava.

Leia is indeed force sensitive, in fact she has the same potential as Luke. But she never trained properly until after the Yuuzhan vong war when she became a jedi knight. Even then she is no where near as powerful as Luke, but she does has the potential in her to be like that. I would like to note something about the Skywalkers, being so powerful in the force they have the ability to use powers they have never used or learnt before when the time is needed, they can just somehow do it.

Wrong, Revan was the most powerful-est force wielder to have lived he used the force in its most purest form, balanced, was both jedi and sith, saved the republic twice, raised the sith empire, destroyed the mandalorians , defeated the sith empire he had built using the star forge, survived 300 years of torture and was betrayed many times but still found the will to fight on against the true sith empire in the outer rim...Darth Vader is a fuckin rusty old toaster, misread the prophecy was!

Or one of the more powerful sith like Darth revan, Darth malgus, darth maul, darth malak, darth bandon, darth treya, etc. even starkiller can match him in speed. he is 2x as powerful as most because of his rage and the fact that he is the chosen one. although not many people could go toe to toe with him for very long in the power aspect he is still to slow to fight against even sidious.

he is faster than some fighters but against a skilled fighter like sideous or Yoda his he moves like bantha. if he had not caught fire on mustifar then he would have more of the midichlorians that not only influence his power with the force but also his physical well being then i could see him matching with a skilled fighter. but because of his lack of midichlorians along with the speed limitations of his cybernetics he is slow although powerful.

He wouldn't tire, Vader is just completely outmatched in speed, he wouldn't be able to hold Yoda off for long. The thing about him tiring is you assume he could last that long, Yoda actually has very good endurance, against Sidious he had to go well above what he would normally fight at just to keep up with him. Remember Sidious fights faster than Anakin can see, and Yoda could match him for some time.

Yeah and that because the writer knows nothing about star wars, he is a poor writer. And he has very few feats, most of his feats well pretty much all come from the book. You should do some research. Name one thing that he has done that compares to Sidious. He didn't destory planets he killed all the life on it by using force drain, completely different. And Sidious has done it on a far bigger scale. He drained a population of 20 billion. And seeing as Sidious is resistant to force drain.

The Sith in the game don't even come close to rivaling the Emperor's power. The Emperor that the Jedi Knight fights in their class quest is only another Voice, the end of the Sith Warrior quest chain proves that the Emperor is still quite well and good. Also, Revan survives the Foundry by folding space around himself to teleport away with the Force. That's what the flash of light is.

I see you played the force unleashed as well a few things 1. first two jedi, die WAY too fast 2. what's up with the white jedi blocking that force push like dragonball? 3. very well done with the striking behind thing (dark side action) 4. you have the effects in order, you could have made it more authentic by not doing this in a warehouse with the boxes and the port

@NoracNocDraco The only trouble with a KotOR movie would be that everyone who has ever played the games has their own very specific image of Revan; and I'm not just talking the whole gender argument. Does Revan spend most of his/her time stealthed laying mines, or hot wiring droids, or rushing head long into the thick of battle? Is Revan all business or does he/she enjoy quips that get on peoples' nerves? That would be almost impossible to translate to film and still please the fan base.

.I think this is fantastic. The acting was good. The story was good. The chereography and fight scenes were good. This obviously must have taken a long time to make. My only criticism is I don't think Revan would have done the laughs during the fight, he wasn't like the emperor and didn't taunt his opponents but liked to quickly get down to business. I also think that the Jedi would have never won the force push battle as Revan is one of the strongest force users ever

Very nice job. The acting was perfect and Revan is just as i have imagined him...superb, arrogant and extremely effective. I have something to say about the fights tho. Revan was the most powerful sith lord ever. His saber skills were unmatched and his dominion on the force was incredibile. How can a simple jedi knight in the video be a challenge for him? XD the saber fight is waaay to slow/long :P imho you should have made the combat faster and more complex...
