It is clear that in case of strong pressure on the handles, the XS will be less comfortable in hand than for the 125 mm for example because the handles are not wrapped and they are shorter. An EDC repair pliers, not a pliers to dismantle the Eiffel Tower! :)
if I paired it with a victorinox it may be the best multitool ever. The jaws open wide and having it separate from screwdrivers so you can use both at the same time for some tasks is really handy
@@MrDavidTrionfi I'm carrying the Cobra XS with my SAK Super Tinker today. Better tools than anything Leatherman or Gerber plier based multitools can provide.
@@endofdayzfitnessu.k2126 I think you’re asking me what my edc multitool is and everyone hates my answer but it’s the Swiss Champ it just keeps finding it’s way back into my pocket and if I need a full sized tool for something both my vehicles have hammers pliers sockets etc. still haven’t found the perfect edc flashlight yet I’ve got keychain size to large throwers. My edc knife lately is the spyderco chaparral but I’ve been thinking of going to one of their slipjoints like the uk pen knife

Thanks for your video. I watched alot of yours video. I think the jaw width adjustment isn't comfortable. Also grip the nut with threaded jaw will make the nut not nice after. The plier also can't place on leatherman sheath well. On my opinion, I would prefer knipex 8603125.

Merci beaucoup d'avoir montré l'outil monsieur! Je pense que 150 est mieux pour un usage quotidien. 125 et XS sont trop petits, ils ne fournissent aucun effet de levier sérieux et vous devez appliquer beaucoup plus de force, ce qui finit également par ressentir une douleur dans la paume de la main, tout en serrant ou en desserrant. Désolé pour mon français, j'ai utilisé la traduction google. Merci encore d'avoir montré le nouvel outil Knipex!
This pliers is very small, so it should be used accordingly. But when it comes to robustness, no need to worry. The idea of fornat XS is to make a pliers EDC compatible. In EDC, I have no doubt that it can provide good service.
Bonsoir. Grand amateur des pinces Knipex, j'attends la réception de cette Cobra XS les jours prochains.... Je ne sais pas si elle détrônera les modèles 125 (Cobra et pince clé) mais je reste impatient de l'essayer en "situation" Elle devrait arrivé accompagnée de sa grande sœur à bec effilé Merci de me faire patienter
Bonsoir. La XS ne pourra évidemment pas concurrencer les modèles plus gros ... sauf peut être dans les cas où un bec de pince étroit est nécessaire. La XS est une pince EDC.
@@diezelle57 j'entends bien et j'en ai parfaitement conscience. Mais partant du fait que les 125 sont déjà très peu encombrantes tout en restant pleinement utilisables dans bon nombre de situations, je suis curieux de voir si le jeux en vaut la chandelle avec cette XS. ... Affaire à suivre donc
@@lolofrisson Pour le prix, un vingtaine d'euros, il n'y a pas à hésiter :) 25 mm plus court, 5 mm moins large, 28 grammes de moins, même écartement des mords, bec plus étroit et utilisation à une main (/125 mm), cette pince entrera dans n'importe quelle petite sacoche ou poche, elle ne vous quittera plus :)
