I am loving all your videos/information, thank you so much. One of the questions I have asked Ravelry is this...I am also a sewist and with most digital patterns now there is an option for tiling/scaling. This means you can choose to print only the size you want including a blended size. It would be so efficient to to select one size to print out and work from with knitting patterns. Another interesting tool would be find your "body doubles" and preview what finished garments look like on them. I always look on the Ravelry pattern site and scroll through testers/knitters to see what the actual finished object looks like on all body shapes before I purchase the pattern. This provides extra "clues" on fit. Again thank you for all the great content.

Meaghan, you have a knack for presenting the topic I need exactly when I need it. I frogged an almost complete sweater (it was too big) and wasn’t going to refresh my yarn before re-knitting it. You inspired me to go the extra step! At some point, will you please talk about reusing yarn which has been refreshed and not refreshed, pros and cons of each? Have a wonderful trip.

Thanks for a great episode! I’ve also managed to refresh unraveled yarn by steaming and gently tugging. This might not be an effective method for a large quantity of yarn, but worked well when I decided to unravel and reknit a small portion of a project.

Thank you so much for this video, it's so helpful! Have a wonderful trip, it sounds incredible!! An idea for a future episode: I would love to learn a 101 about the basic properties of merino vs alpaca vs silk etc, mainly just their strengths e.g. which one do I go to for warmth? Which one do I go to for drape? Which one do I go to for strength / wear-and-tear? Apologies if you've already covered this and I've missed it! Have a great trip!! 🎉

I’m so glad you presented this information. I have yarn from a frogged sweater that I’ll use this method on!

I have wondered how to do this without ending up with a huge mess. Thank you for the video and information on where to find the pattern for your cowl. Have a safe trip.

Very informative! I love your cowl. Would you share the pattern and yarn you used?

You bet - the pattern is the AzkaBandana Cowl by Jenny Noto: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/azkabandana-cowl. The yarn I used was a stash worsted weight that is from a dyer that is no longer dyeing (most unfortunately). But a great substitute for what I used would be the Sky Blue Wooly Worsted from Ewe Ewe Yarns: eweewe.com/collections/yarns/products/wooly-worsted-merino-yarn?variant=39938356543659

So you don’t rinse out the wool wash?

Eucalan is great - it doesn't need to be rinsed out, best to check the label of whatever you do use though.
