I love all your episodes! As far as hats go, I prefer them without Pom poms. But those are all pretty! I love the flower throw and especially the steering wheel cover! So pretty. Jonna, your cobalt blue sweater is going to be gorgeous.

Hello ladies great to see you again, catching up with episodes, life has been busy lately for me. Sad news about your family member being ill Jonna, hope he feels better soon xx like your hair Kim very pretty!! I accidentally broke my circular needles with my stripey blanket, too many stitches probably as I'm still learning!! So I've gone back to basics knitting strips of assorted wool, will sew the strips together to make a big blanket. Loving all the samples, beautiful designs and colours, fab video as always xx

I’ve knitted a beanie similar to that sweater Kim. Pretty sure it was in that book. It was such a challenge all those years ago. Wouldn’t you know all my friends wanted one too. Can’t wait to see it finished. I was a big Kim Hardgreaves fan. Your granddaughter has wonderful taste.

Kim if you take your knitting journal to a copy shop, they may be able to shave the spine and make it spiral bound. I’ve done this with several pattern books and it cost me about $6

Jonna, I also LOVE Jackie’s tubular cast on method w/ the crochet hook. ❤ Great episode! And now I’m inspired to finish MY primrose throw, too. 😊 I think the pattern calls for 500 flowers so you’re almost halfway there, Kim! 😅You got this. 💪 Kim, that chartreuse color yarn would be great on you, esp with your tortoise shell glasses.

Jonna, I totally agree that sometimes you need to do only one thing at a time to free space in your brain and to do that one thing well. Kim, I discovered bookmarks that are magnifiers. Since I only read at bedtime when my eyes are tired, I can hold the bookmark over the text (with my book light that sits around my neck).

Jonna, sorry you had a rough week, praying it gets better. Glad your dad is doing better. Kim, love love love your hair color!!Oh Jonna, you should visit West 7th Wool while in Texas. I like the crayon tip Pom Pom. I was watching Kay from Crazy Sock Lady and she mentioned how she trained her dogs to not be interested in her knitting by giving them a bone when they would show interest. It basically disengaged them. Another great episode! Praying you both have a good rest of the month!

Jonna, that motif on your bag from It's a Woollen affair looks Pennsylvanian Dutch to me. The birds seem to be distelfink birds - a good luck / hex sign, as I recall. I'm from Waterloo County in Ontario where there are many old-order Mennonites. Distelfinks (often in this same symmetrically opposed birds) show up a lot, sometimes painted on the side of barns. Cool.

So good to see you both! Kim, the flower throw is just the cutest, and that sweater will look amazing on your tween/teen granddaughter. Jonna, that Julie Asselin cobalt is just perfection, perfect color for you! I'm always glad to see someone pick up Fourth Wing and love it (who doesn't love a dragon that is a curmudgeon?). I love that you read it so you could discuss it with your daughter! As an avid reader, watching the Fourth Wing hype has been so much fun. I'm currently reading something much less fun with my daughter (an AP lit pic ), Crime and Punishment. I look forward to days of lighter reading.I have Amor Towles', The Lincoln Highway, set to read in June! Thanks so much for sharing with us! Love to you both.

Julie, I envy your love for reading. Because I read, translate and edit manuscripts all day, the LAST thing I want to do in my free time is read more! I have tried listening to audio books, but I find the voices of certain narrators so incredibly annoying, especially when trying to emulate the voices of children or certain ethnic groups. Ugh.

I loved the Lincoln Highway!! I just couldn’t get into A Gentleman in Moscow. Fourth Wing and its sequel are fun romps! Great vacation reading. Can’t wait for the third book!

Gosh, I don't particularly like wearing yellow, but that No Frills is seriously making me reconsider. Kim, your neckline is much improved, and now I want rose gold highlights! There IS a huge difference between US 10.5 and US 11, Kim! THe latter is 8mm! The US 10.5 is 6.5mm. It's easy to find 7mm - harder but possible to lay hands on 7.5mm. C'mon over to metric, you guys. Bring your country with you....
