Glad u explained about the hanging man, for one horrible moment I thought you’d stitched it upside down 🤣. Love everything about it. The stars have aligned because I’ve just put some Stylecraft Aran in my WWH basket to crochet a blanket. So perfect timing for me to see yours. I think it was only last year I managed to master crochet & didn’t think I liked it but then I became addicted. Much to the delight of my daughter’s dog who won’t lie on anything else now. 🤷‍♀️🐶. I’ve only done granny stripes so far but would like to have a bash at squares. I actually ripped back on a yoke jumper , I had a "WhatWouldTinaDo" moment. i kept staring at the increases all week and yesterday pulled out the needles , I have a habit of putting in a color marker after certain sections and had popped one in to mark the end of the short rows. So read from there and counted to just get above the increases I was hating, try a different one. I did pull , one by one , placed it on the needle. Not that confident. I am sure it was stable enough , it is 100% wool and sticky enough but then again I will sit for hours with tangled yarn and sort it, patiences in my name! lol I've been waiting to see what you decided on your jumper, per usual you took a Lemon experience and are making Lemonade . Those colours are going to make beautiful socks. You're one of my favorite RU-vidrs to catch when something new comes out because you have a bit of knit, crochet and cross stitch , get weekly fix , times 3 😄

Hi Tina ! How nice to have coffee with you. I feel you will be so pleased with the sweater. And for your granny blanket, wow, that is many ends to sew in, I am working on a granny strip blanket, I just wanted to have one I could fold up and keep at the end of the bed, as I like naps, but need a little something to cover up with. You and your 9 inch circular, I wouldn’t be able to keep the stitches on, I am entirely too clumsy. I bought a set of addi flex tips and am going to give them a go and see if I like them or not. Granny square colors are so pretty, happy colors! Don’t you love it when certain yarn/colors find their Happy Place? I’ve been using up bits & bobs of older acrylic yarn, making totes or small-ish baskets. Gifties! Anxious to start (using wool/blends) working on a few shawls, tees, to keep me occupied. Signed up for 2 KALs (cowls-one mystery!!) for September and October. I usually lag behind or lose interest, so we shall see !! Socks … always for whatever/whenever for a different kind of project. Thanks for sharing frustrations & solutions … you’re not alone! It’s always nice to see how others cope w “mmm, not quite what I had in mind…”

You're so brave to rip back a sweater. Worth it though because those two blues look so pretty together. I so enjoy seeing your Tarot stitching. I was never able to join in the SAL because I have too much on my plate. And now I need to knit a sweater for my little granddaughter. I'll be making the Wallaby 8 ply from Ravelry with some Soft Donegal yarn from Studio Donegal. Fingers crossed that I can do this. My daughter really wants it for her daughter.

Tarot is looking lovely. Flax is one of my go-to sweaters. I'm on the miles of stockinette for the body right now... at least it's good flosstube knitting?

Hi Tina. You certainly have been busy. Personally I think you made the right decision to pull your sweater back, 😀 can I ask what size hook you are using for your granny blanket? I made a 4ply one but the stitches appear to be half the size of yours...took me forever! Blessings from Greece x
