What wonderful work you do. The templar Prophecy is amazing too. Your sweater is really pretty with the yoke adapted from the Ranunculus.

I totally understand when we don't see you here on RU-vid when you're not feeling great. I would be exactly the same. I've recently lost my Mum (93) and had other health problems within the family. I lost interest in everything, even knitting. I hope you are improving with your back, take care Tina 😊

Hi Tina the long dog is fantastic! Cardigan is lovely too. So sorry you've had a bad month with one thing and another. Good luck in finding another job, hope your back gets better soon and as for the seagull😁it happened to me on my way to a job interview years ago. I had to quickly run into a clothes shop, buy a new top and change into it before meeting my potential new boss! I did get the job but I often wonder if the seagull that pooped all down my shirt had given me good luck (maybe it was the new top😂) anyway take care of you and I'll see you on the next vlog

Lovely to see you Tina, I'm so sorry to hear about your redundancy I'm not surprised that it has knocked you for six. I can empathise witb you re the back pain, I've had a few bouts over the years and the doctor told me to keep moving and take antinflammatories. It's easy done with the back. I hope the pain settles soon. Your stitch-a-long is coming on nicely your sampler is fantastic, you will be glad to finish it. I'm interested in how your cardi turns out as I'm needing to knit myself a cardi too. I haven't tried drops Nord but used other drops yarn. Take care Tina Xx

Oh Tina so sorry about your news. I was made redundant after the pandemic. I had worked there for over 30 years so a bit of a shock to the system. I must admit I still feel “strange” staying home all day along with feeling guilty and the forever “I should be doing something practical” saying in my head. Hope May brings you happiness and health. A seagull dropped it's load on my car recently, it went everywhere. I wondered how they can fly carrying that much extra weight. I'm off to Devon on the weekend. I was in Paignton for a few days last week, I love Devon. A few years ago I was walking down the main street in Paignton and I had the same happen to me by a seagull 🤢. I thought someone had threw something at me, it was so bad l had to go back to the apartment and shower. Lovely to see you back and really looking forward to seeing your Long Dog finished. 😅 when my daughter was young , we were waiting for the school bus..and a bird pooed from my head, down through my glasses, all the way down my side. Get well soon Tina, life has its ups and downs.

We went to Cornwall at the beginning of April and did a fair amount of shower dodging! Didn’t have any trouble with seagulls, though - so swings and roundabouts! We did see Daphne Du Maurier’s house (from across the water), when we visited Fowey. I used to have frequent bouts of sciatica and once set it off by picking up a tea towel (no really, that’s all I did!) but then I’ve always thought that housework is bad for your health! I hope your redundancy goes well and there aren’t any financial shenanigans. I also hope that you find a new job which you really enjoy, with better pay, better conditions and an easy commute. Nothing wrong with “hermit mode” (I’m very partial to it, truth be told!) but I hope May holds a lot more jollification for you and that you are soon feeling better.

You've gotten so close on your Long Dog. What an amazing accomplishment it will be. Well actually it already is an amazing accomplishment. Never two without three, redundancy, bird poo and hurt back. Now you'll only have good stuff. I'm not trying to be silly as I really am sorry about your redundancy and yes it is always very difficult to deal with. But I've had it happen before when an entire shop that I worked in shut down. It turned out to be the best thing that could happen to me as I took a secretarial course afterwards and ended up with a good job that lasted me 26 1/2 years right up to my retirement. Good luck my friend or as we say here in Québec, Merde!

Yikes-that seagull story sounds awful! So sorry about your job, and I hope you find something that you enjoy. Finally, backs are awful. I’ve had problems with mine for 30 years and between the pain, muscle weakness and limited movement, it’s frustrating. I am sending all the sympathy and healing energy to you.🌷🌼💐🌺🌸🪻
