Welcome to Knitters Kniche! I’m back! Join me as I reflect on how knitting got me through my convalescence. I talk about my current wips and the sweater I cast on and finished while being sick.

Glad you are feeling better and hoping your energy levels are back to normal soon to enjoy your trip. In awe of all your knits. So perfect. Difficult choice but I think the scarf to appreciate the colour changes. Enjoy whichever you choose. 😊

I love your autumn league. Very nice. I have done one and it is too large under the arms. I have yarn to make another. I will make it a size smaller. When I wear it a few times it grows. I put it in washer on hand wash cycle and cold. And then dry it on delicate/ gentle drying cycle. It comes back up to normal again. It’s my favorite sweater. The cotton yarn is so comfy

Good to hear your feeling better. The new sweater is very lovely, it suits you very much. I love the Noro yarn, I would be tempted to do what you suggested and knit the Sophia shawl weighing the yarn until you have reached half and then begin decreasing, I would see the shawl as an heirloom piece that would pass down to your daughter and grand daughters. I have girls too and always mindful of the things I will be passing on to them. Take care, hope your back to full health very soon.

Too bad you’re spending your vacation being ill. Hope you are back to normal soon. My vote for the Noro yarn is for the vest.

I have used the noro for a vest. It will stripe. I think it would be wonderful as a shawl, and drapey.

I caught your August podcast when you featured the winter league sweater. I have not knitted in 40 years. I almost bought the pattern but did not like the oversized design. I discovered this podcast where you detailed the your modifications. Thank you so much. I also watch the island Lamb with Diane who mentioned you in her podcast with the same pullover.

I am reviewing this very informative episode starting to knit Autumn League. Thanks for the inspiration! You mentioned maybe doing a single crochet to pick up neckband stitches. Can you recommend a how to tutorial?

Happy to see you again. Your knits are stunning! We need an update as to what you decide to make with the beautiful Noro. I’m currently knitting a shawl with three different kinds of Noro……the colours are divine, I just don’t know about the pattern though. It’s from the Noro magazine. Feel better soon..🧶❤️

Thank you so much Ellen! I’m trying to find another skein/cake of Noro in the same color to purchase so I can knit a cardigan which I know I’ll love and wear. I’m feeling much better and I’m back home and I have plenty of knitting to show and talk about. Thank you for the well wishes! You are so kind. 😊❤️

Hi Bobbie, Glad you're feeling better! Your blankets are so pretty! Love your sweater! Looks very nice on you! I think vests are very versatile, can be worn over a dress or with skirt or pants! Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects with all of us !🦋🌻

Hi, Bobbi! Ohhhhhhh, no! Praying you'll feel 100% better ASAP and get over all your COVID symptoms! It's amazing you were able to get so much knitting done! I especially love your Cozy Comfort Throw. The colors are beyond gorgeous. I wish I knew how much of the Noro yarn you would need to make the vest, which would be beautiful! Will look forward to hearing about that in a future podcast. Take care, and get your rest! Bobbie

Yay! You look pretty good, that prescription and the fantastic Florida weather are the perfect combo! The fit of your pullover is great! I have never used Noro, but it seems a lovely yarn for a shawl. Sending you good vibes! 🌺🌺🌺🌺
