I'm knitting the mica socks from the first 52 socks book while I'm watching this. I love the sight of colourwork, but knitting it...omg it's really a hassle. And since I'm knitting my socks two at a time, and using my colours from one ball (1 thread from the outside, the other from te inside) I have created a massive yarn tangle. Pffff, glad the main pattern is only 13 rows!

Not me DROOLING over all your sock colors..😍also totally don’t blame you for not wanting to wear your handknits and get them messed up, when I was still breastfeeding my LO, the amount of milk that would just get EVERYWHERE and stain things was ridiculous and everything I wore got a stain on it😅😂and girl yessss on a shawllll! I just casted on my first shawl too! I’ll probably be showing it in my next podcast episode. I’m doing the Find Your Fade by Andrea Mowry but with just one color because I fell in love with this one colorway and bought 4 skeins😍✨Can’t wait to see what shawl pattern you pick if you go with a shawl!!

All your socks are so pretty 😍😍 I remember you saying that you love reading fantasy - I just recently finished a super fun (&dark) fantasy romance called The Serpent & The Wings of Night, maybe that would be something for you.

Red Rising is technically a trilogy, but the next three books in the series are kind of a sequel trilogy? I don't know if that makes sense haha, but they take place many years after the end of Morning Star. I think the tone of the sequel trilogy is really different, and while I enjoyed the books I read from it, I honestly like the ending in Morning Star more. But lots of people really like them, just not for me personally. The ending to Morning Star is a real shocker (in a good way) so I hope you enjoy it ! I'm also in a huge sock knitting phase right now, and was coincidentally swatching for the same sunflower socks you mentioned while watching.

I've been wanting to read Red Rising for so loooong. I keep hearing amazing reviews! But my local library is a bit low on YA, Fantasy, and Sci-fi. They mostly stock erotica or romances. I'm also itching to get back to knitting again. I've had to give my wrists a break this week because they've been killing me lately.
