Nice to have you back! BTW, jewel tones are deep, rich colors. Think emerald green, ruby red, etc.

😂 Oh brother, the joys of having a young boy. My first born was just like that. there was a point in time where we were in and out of Children's Mercy ER so much that the nurses knew him by name. Smh... Get ready.

I knit a Lento between Christmas and New Years in a solid fingering and variegated mohair. In the skein they looked like they had a lot of contrast, but in the fabric it looks like a water color wash. I love it so much and yours will look beautiful too.

I knit the storm sweater for my toddler in the 2-3 year old size and it turned out huge 😂 I thought it was just because I didn't gauge swatch lol

I made my son the Flax sweater when he was just over 1 yr old, he wore it to take photos and never put it back on. In the process of making the Sibling Sweater and he give me hell when I want to put it on to check the lengths….so I feel like he wont wear this one either. Out of everyone (3 children and a husband) my youngest daughter is the only one who actually wears everything I make her.

Welcome back! Have you tried to rearrange the stitches so you can do an Italian bind off for the hat?? It’s easy and there are some great tutorials out there (on RU-vid)
