Hi Megha! I always feel like I am sitting and knitting with a friend during your episodes. So much goodness!!! Thanks for answering my question 😂 with that answer I say: CONDIMENT COLOURS for the win! #trending
Thank you Megha for your time, inspiration, Q&A and the plant tour! Good for you that you are sewing more and more. I must say I enjoy seeing your sewn garments as well. I used to own a knitting shop and thought expanding to sewing would be a good expansion. My partner did not agree unfortunately. It is always inspiring when I watch Skeins of dreams.
I enjoyed the Q&A and thankyou for sharing a bit of your history here in the US. SO interesting to know about your profession. No wonder you are a whiz at knitting! You are brilliant, but fun!
Definitely the suri alpaca ! They look so good together. I also bought the Pink Velvet pattern a few years ago but haven’t made it yet 😂it’s such a beautiful design. Lovely podcast.
So fun to hear that besides knitting, we have our paid work in common. I'm moving from the west to the east coast next month for work and will (only) be about 5 hours from you. Hope we can meet up and geek out together one day! :-)
I had a giant monster at one time, and it was not fun. I absolutely loved it. It was gorgeous. But when they get bigger, they put out little feet that stick to the walls and woodwork and sort of dissolve it so that they can hold on and climb, and when you try to remove them, they leave dark brown marks on the wall where they were holding on, that don't come off. Your plants and cats are all gorgeous.
@@skeinsofdreamsknits As long as you give it something really strong to climb and keep it away from the wall far enough to not be able to attach itself, you should be fine. Either that, or make a false wall behind it that is removable but doesn't have any cracks behind it that it can sneak through, you should be fine. Mine was so big and lush that I didn't realize what it was doing until it was too late. I was able to paint over the area it damaged though, and removed the wallpaper from the other area. So the wall looks ok now. I don't have the plant any more though.
Your projects are great. I’m knitting a Cumulus blouse! I remembered that the color is sapphire. I’m using Berrocco Dulce yarn. I love your plants!!🪴 ❤
We do have a few things in common. I too am well endowed. I do not like circular yokes, they end up too big on me with big arm holes. I also quilt, I like that you mentioned you have a Baby Lock Jazz. I have a Baby Lock Verve and I need a bigger throat to quilt, so I will be looking into the Jazz.
For your safe's love tee, if you lengthened the yoke depth, the sleeve cap for the size without modifications will not fit into the arm hole. You need to have the same row depth as the size with a 10" opening.
Delighted by your plant corner. Cats so cute seeing them in the background. For the pink fluff sweater I’d choose the suri. The colours will be such a wonderful look with the red. Enjoy your knitting
