Make and share whatever you want. If people don’t like seeing baby knits they can skip it. For the flower sweater you could do one flower per row and change the flower on every row. Love the kids version!

Don’t worry about the forgetfulness. I suddenly struggled with that as well when I was pregnant. It was hard for me because I was in a high performing career (as you are). Being that you are a physician you may know this, but juuuust in case I thought I’d share. People blame the hormones, and of course there is some of that, but I also learned of a study that showed that the brain synapses are actually reprogrammed in pregnancy to make it easier for women to connect with and care for their baby. I found that knowledge much more useful so I could celebrate this effect, rather than just blaming the hormones. Your baby knits are lovely. It’s such a special thing we can do to show our love. ❤

I love seeing all the baby knits, they are so cute, and I'm way past baby years. This was a fun episode so many lovely knits and so much inspiration. I'm grateful for all the yarn information. Motherhood looks really great on you Inga, you look so radiant. I think the idea of the matching sweaters is so cute and I love the pattern you chose. I would love the adult version and in the same colorway. Take care, I'll look forward to seeing you next time.

As always you put together a lovely podcast for us! I'd love to see everything you make in the future including all the baby and kids stuff! I know exactly how much work goes into a podcast like this and I agree completely that it is your space, your hobby and your podcast! And I am always so happy to see another episode. Thank you for the amazing content you share with us! Maybe you can add sections/chapters to your video so that it is easier for people to skip the baby parts. You never know what reasons people have for not wanting to see baby clothes and such. It might be hard for people to see who lost a baby or cannot have a child of their own. So that would be a relatively simple fix. Love all your projects as always!

I love your soothing company as I knit along Inga. I’ve enjoyed your podcast for a long time and you continue to show up with such a calming and engaging presence! Funny as you were discussing the continuously changing colourwork sweater (gorgeous btw) I am working on a swatch for the Halibut sweater and the chart is different EVERY SINGLE ROW. It’s only 52 rounds and then the body is solid colour but yeah having to really use the old noggin! You are radiant. Absolutely glowing Mama. Have a great weekend!

Oh my, but that little flowered pullover is soooooo beautiful! Great idea to use it for a swatch and I LOVE the colours you chose. I like the combo of child, adult, and accessories that you provide. I knit for my grandkids, as well as myself, so all the ideas and inspiration is helpful. I find that I generally need to knit the sleeves and body longer on all my knits for babies and kids. I also like to provide growing room, so rolling up sleeves and longer lengths can get more seasons from all the knitting that goes into the items.

What a wonderful episode! I love the swatch/child's sweater. And I think it'll be really great for all three of you to have the same sweater. If that sweater fits your baby at age 2 you'll have tons of time to complete the adult versions! I'm happy to see whatever you're knitting. I think asking you to do a different episode for baby knits would be like asking you do separate episodes for my color choices (primarily blues, greys and neutrals). It makes no sense. Inga. I would have to say the comment was made to help and inspire. I just have to believe that. Never the less, knit what ever brings you joy, and I am completely here for it. Your child knits are amazing and actually precursors for adults knits, swatches with purpose. And amazing. You are glowing and your community is so happy for your family. I hope you get to go away for a couples weekend and have a bit of acquisitions to share. I am here for that also! Be well. 😊

Your hair looks beautiful today. Thanks for the advice on how to keep your swatches square. I do the same thing. Sometimes I make separate swatches but you’re way is much more yarn conservative. It will help for sure. I buy an extra skein for swatching and that is too expensive. So yay!😊

So exciting when I see a new episode from you!!!! You are my favorite and inspire many of us with your beautiful knits. Thank you, Inga, for sharing your knits and yarns. I learn a lot from you and I have knitted most of her life. Keep them coming especially all your baby knits, remember that a lot of us are grandmothers and are always looking for patterns for our grandchildren ❤❤❤

Mostly your silent viewer but I have to say that I love when you are brunette. Your hair and eyes are so nice with all those fall colors that you like. The baby sweater is just gorgeous with those pretty flowers. Your baby is going to be so pretty and cozy in all these garments you make. And finally I have to thank you that after many years I made a friendship with rustic yarns and nowadays I use them in majority of my projects.

I love seeing all the baby knits. Make and share what you want. It’s your podcast and you’re starting a new chapter in life. We will definitely be lucky to get anything after the baby comes. Take your time and soak it in. We won’t mind if you have less knits and less episodes moving forward. I’m definitely going to knit the green color work sweater for my niece. I love those colors but I might have to knit her a pink one since pink is her favorite color.
