As I was watching you drive, I thought “That looks like Maine”. Laughed when I realized you were going to Rosemary’s. My LYS too! I think I also have that bear pattern! Happy Spring! Or should I say Pollen Season!?
Aww this made me miss living in Maine. My husband and I lived in midcoast the first few years of our marriage. Such a lovely state! Thank you for sharing your rainy day with us.
My sister lives right down the street from Rosemary’s! The owner and her husband are so sweet! ❤Ive seen the bear you’re knitting….my 2 1/2 year old niece would love one….she melts my heart, how do I say no?! I can’t! 😂
I wanted to share with you, that I use to live in Portland Maine when I was a girl. I thought it was a beautiful place to live. We lived on Ratliff Street. I like your podcast a lot. Thank you
Hello I am a senior from Toronto. So happy to find your channel I enjoying knitting and baking as well. Your channel is so relaxing when watching it. Have a gear say.🥰
Can’t wait to see your little bear you are knitting. Wow, yes you are so lucky to have such a beautiful yarn shop so close to you. I have none, zip, zero local yarn shops. I so wish. Loved watching your vlog! 🧶❣️
I love how your sweater turned out. I was curious what you thought about your Juniper Moon Farms wool yarn. I am using some Juniper Moon Farms Moonshine yarn for a new sweater right now and it ranks right up there with some of the best, softest yarn I've knit with- pretty amazing stuff! I will definitely will purchase their brand again but trying to use from my stash!!!! Enjoyed your RU-vid this morning. It's raining here too so this will be a knitting day for sure! cheers, Carrie from the San Francisco Bay Area ☺🌹☕🌦🧶
Glad I saw this. Trying to finish up the Cumulus Tee that had been lingering without sleeves for many months. I completed the i-cord on the body, but don't want it on the sleeves or neckline as it's curling upwards - probably due to the thicker yarn I used. I see the moon set had two finishes, so I'm going to complete the sleeves and neckline using 1x1 ribbing. Unsure about re-doing the i-cord on the body because the yarn used is Drops Air and kid silk and it's so sticky.
Aw, I'm so glad I found your channel. I Just started knitting this year and learned so much from your videos. I recently got my first order of Knitting for Olive for the Moon Tee (gonna be my first knitted garment) and so Happy you made a video about it. Thank you
I’m so happy to have found your channel and love this episode. What a wonderful yarn store to be so close to you and your finished tee is beautiful! I think I need to cast that one on soon. Cute bear project too 😊
I’m so enjoying this podcast! I went to U of Southern Maine, when it was still called UMPG and that was about 100 years ago! 😂 In a few weeks, I’ll actually be visiting a brother who lives in Falmouth Foreside and a best friend who lives in Portland. Well, Hubby is a ‘keeper’…those flowers are stunning!!! I’ve already put in an order at Rosemary’s….paused the podcast!!😂😂 Definitely on my radar during my visit there!! You are such a ray a sunshine, zen, and all things are possible person. Thank You❤ ???name of the clear containers with the blue handles you are using to store yarn?? Thanks😊
This comment made my day. Thank you so much! Have a great time visiting! I will find the link for the containers... I keep getting questions about them! I'll add them into my video description...
How long have u been knitting. I'm beg knitter. I've done a scarf for my hubby. He wants socks. Soooo scary. There will b a lot of frogging and anger mgmt in my immediate future. So ur site will calm me. I hope. ☺️
I've been knitting for over 20 years, not consistently but I learned as a child. Socks are not that hard! If you haven't chosen a pattern yet, I recommend Summer Lee's I'm So Basic Sock pattern - there are lots of pictures and video tutorials to go along with the pattern!
