You're right that Keanu has some iffy performances, I can't argue that. However, he's fantastic in My Own Private Idaho. Great film and great performance.

One of my favorite B-Films simply because you never know where its going and it doesn't give a shit about any "boundaries" of good taste. Anyone who thinks the comedy in this was unintentional needs to check their media literacy. The original is very similar and even goes further in a few places. Also the sheer irony of Keanu actually managing to convey an actual emotion for once, and its during the "free pizza" monologue 💀

Remake of 1977's Death Game aka The Seducers starring Sondra Locke, Colleen Camp (has a cameo in the remake) and Seymour Cassel.

This was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Unintentional comedy duo no one knew they needed but always wanted.

I need to rewatch this movie, I watched it but it was such a fever dream, I think I went to get a drink, came back and had no idea what was going on but found it I guess entertaining, need to see on a rewatch.

This was definitely one frustrating movie where you put yourself in that situation, and imagine how you would handle it. He had a lot more patience than I would have.

Ana De Armas is still super cute despite the torturing and mind F-ery 😅 Knock Knock is a remake of Death Game btw, which is also worth checking out. Colleen Camp (Yvette from Clue 😍) and Sondra Locke (Clint Eastwood's longtime romantic partner) are both great.

I've seen this twice because it's so campy and hilarious with how Keanu goes way over the top with his already bad acting skills. I tell you one scene he blew me away in. It was a scene in the movie 'The Devil's Advocate' where his wife cuts her own throat. Ugh I completely and utterly DESPISE this movie! I have never been more angry watching a movie in my life. When you have the time Rob, I suggest you watch the alternate ending on RU-vid as it does feel more slightly cathartic.

Hell no don't kill them

This movie's interesting. It gets hyped up by a couple of different groups -- the girl power ra ra people who enjoy the reversal of roles concerning a home invasion movie. And then the other group just being the mainstream culture that loves Keanu Reeves. If you are online nowadays, the common perception is that is a great guy. I have pretty strong opinions that differ. I don't think Keanu Reeves is a good actor. Actually, outside of Bill and Ted, I think he's pretty bad. He might be a great person, but I am always very aware he is acting when he is onscreen. I feel like no one talks about this. My other strong opinion is that the movie is pretty milquetoast. It relies on the attractiveness of the two girls to keep your attention but they just do that Harley Quinn type crazy role where it is really hard to pull off. The reason the killers in Funny Games are so intimidating is because they juxtapose politeness with terrible behavior. These girls just sorta are one dimensional. The directing and script aren't great either, at least to me. Very bland. Also, I feel like the comedy isn't strong enough in this to really be obvious. The bad acting is obvious but i don't think that was intentional. And that's really the only funny part.
