some of the comments seem unaware but Poppy’s been churning out metal tunes for years. Bloodmoney, X, Concrete, Cue, Church Outfit, V.A.N., Spit, Scary Mask, etc etc. Her screams are her own style, they don’t sound like anybody else’s and i wouldn’t want them to. Unlike a lot of other female metal vocalists i can actually tell Poppy apart.
Yes thank you! I don't like when people say, well if Poppy had some scream training... Poppy doesn't need and vocal coach to teach her how to scream. She can do it live, by herself without anyone backing her up, and she does it her own way. If she screamed like every other female metalcore vocalist it would be boring and common. My favorite idustrial/doom trap artists is Mimi Barks, because her vocals and screams are a different flavor and imo you can't mistake her.

Been a fan of Poppy since the creepy MK Ultra video days. When my kid was 11, I took her to Rockville and we saw Poppy. Me and another dude lifted my kid up and she had her first crowd surf while Poppy was on stage. I got an amazing pic of my kid with Poppy in the background. So awesome. I will always dig Poppy. She one of those that can do no wrong.
I've been sleeping so hard on knocked loose, but this feature's got me fucking hooked. It should be illegal how fire this song is. The mixed screams at the end right after the breakdown is the kinda shit that i would replay hundreds of times and never get sick of lol.

I love this song and poppy is great in it but what really made this video more interesting than just seeing what it's like live, is THAT FUCKING OUTFIT??? That thing is SO COOL ?????? also I adore the clean-screams, almost no one else seems to do them, likely because theyre trying to do metal, and poppy is just trying to do whatever tf she wants. Or else because it's bad for your voice, it doesnt sound that safe, I hope it is though because it's pretty awesome.
