That’s some cool stuff. When I think amusement parks I would never think of seeing hit and miss engines and saw mills...

At least the old equipment isn't just sitting in someone's barn where no one can see it or appreciate it, or in a junkyard some where rusting away. Thanks for taking us along. Brings back memories.

You are BACK!!!! So great to see you on the 'tube again. Some great sounds coming out of those engines, and the train had wonderful clickity-clack. Your passion for the unused engines is commendable. At least some of them are under cover and not rusting in a farm field somewhere. I love how you look for the details in places like this, I do the same thing. Glad to see another video from you Johnathan! I agree, there's not point in having those engines sitting like that if they don't run. Should either get them running or sell them to collectors! Despite the fact that they're probably abused a bit, it's really cool to see all this antique equipment in use! The roller coaster motor is awesome! Certainly isn't anything like this near me lol! Phoenix, originally known as Rocket, was built at Playland in San Antonio by Philadelphia Toboggan in 1947. It was moved to Knoebels at the expense of $1.5 million and reopened as Phoenix in 1985.

Things you missed the larger trains run on Wisconsin 4vs. The antique car ride uses a mix of Wisconsin and new Honda engines. When it comes to the steam tractors the one failed is boiler inspection. The crown sheet on the larger one (a part of the fire box) started to warp so it was taken out of service a few year ago. I talked with one of the maintenance guys whos been there for years. And he said there hopeing to bring one of them back before 2025. As for the other antiques its seems there's a question owner ship thats keeping them from being run/fixed. Anyways great vid :) Also forgot to say the ski life runs on a industrial ford engine

it is a shame to see those engine's there like that and they wouldn't let you fix any of them i love how you feel about them too many people just dont care anymore i hate that hope your back soon.

Hey Jonathan great video I have visited konobles every year and have wondered to same thing about the engines it’s a real shame that they are hidden away and not running

There should be laws against abandonment of them hit-n-miss engines. They need to be rescued. It's a shame that Knobels does this.
