Mine too but if you do a hot oil treatment once a week or at least biweekly it looks brand new again because of the oil,cap and heat combo refining, defining and laying our strays back down
Those who are expressing frustration that stylist are saying they cannot do this style, you HAVE TO ask for FEED IN braids ☺️☺️ typically when they do box braids, they start with adding hair at the root so it’s all one length which gives it that bulky look. Feed ins purposely gives a natural look because of the GRADUAL adding in hair, hence the name feed in. So it’s properly tapered 😊
This is what I mean when i want knotless braids 😭 but my stylist keep saying my hair too puffy for it to be this sleek and natural. You made it look so easy, so I’m going to try doing this style by myself next week! ❤️
That’s what a hot comb is for. I swear stylists don’t want to WORK these days. I used to hotcomb my friends roots before braiding because it made the base smooth and the braids were still thick :)
I want mines slim like this and ppl keep saying no they can’t do it. I’m like I just want them to look really natural. My hair is very thin. I want my braids to mimic my hair. I am going to try it myself before Christmas
I suggest investing in a knitting rack that holds spools of thread, it’ll come in handy when you’re separating your bundle. It’s cheaper than buy a braiding rack and they’re exactly the same thing 😅
I'm white but I LOVE BRAIDS their so pretty. Could never do them on myself cause my hair is just not the right texture but if I have a black friend I'd do them for them for free honestly their so gorgeous
@@thagoochtookmylunchmoney8800 how do you know if she said she couldn't tho lol? Some people know their hair well enough. The only reason I could think of that her hair wouldn't be the right texture is if it's really really thin (possibly already damaged) hair. Otherwise I see no reason she would say that. Maybe she has tried and it didn't end well.
@@Lovegodandjesussmevil eye isn’t bad. It belongs to some cultures. It’s meant to protect whoever is wearing it from bad things. It’s almost like wearing a cross💓
