I am a size 71/2 and I have bean boots in 7 W and yeah I definitely agree to size down and go normal even if your feet are wide. I was too lazy to exchange the boots but every time I put them on I wish they fit a little better :-(

I made the same mistake as you. Ordered the 9 m because that’s my size normally. Their 9 felt like an 11. LOL So the rep suggested a 7m and that’s too small. Waiting for the 8 m but I believe the 8 is going to be a 1/2 size too big. But I will keep them and buy thicker socks. I do want to wear them in the snow and in the rainy seasons so I opted for the non-insulated. I whiched I had watched your review first.

I am a size 8 1/2 I also pretty wife eat, so I'm hoping it says it will work. I plan to wear it with thick socks. Will let you know how it goes or if anybody have advice.

MqryAnn but they still run too big. Their 9 is like an 11. They need half sizes. I know the 8 I ordered will be 1/2 too big because I have also tried the 7 and that’s too small.

I’m a size 9 I ordered a 8M and it was too tied with my cabin socks, exchanged it for a 9M waiting for it to arrive, hope it fits well

Good Pointa But? When you call customer service? they read off a card and tell you about the socks thing? which to me? is not a true answer only a liability type answer.....

Wish they would fit for me, even the Bean boots in wide pinch and hurt my feet, but Sorrel that has no width choice, fit. I would say, Bean boots run extremely narrow, even the wide widths, I haven't had this problem with other brands and wide widths. To bad, Bean boots are made much better, but you better have narrow feet or good luck.

@@kboffline lol I thought both are reasonable price wise, not exactly Gucci loafers. I wear Docs because they almost look like dress shoes, and are more comfy than most sneakers. Also, no need for nice socks which I always lose.

@@brettknoss486 theyre pretty reasonable for their durability, my dad has had the same pair for 20 years - i'm just saying that a lot of people just buy them as a flex because LLBean is considered somewhat boujee here

Bean boots are super cheap for a quality boot though. Anything under $200 is cheap for a real quality boot

If you're a true 7.5 then 7 or 8 might be difficult for you. 7 will bit tight. 8 will be too much room.

AoiGP I think people with half sizes can find a perfect fit because I am 9 (man size) and my 8 in the Bean boot is a a 1/2 too big. The girl in the video has same issue as me.

I would recommend the 7! I'm an 8 and the 7M boots that I have feel like 8.5! Hope this helps

If you're an 8/8.5, you would size down to a 7. In the standard bean boot I suggest wear the bean boot thick socks to wear with them or if you have thick socks at home that would work as well. Not all of the Bean Boots are made the same, if you live near a store I recommend trying on a few different pairs. They do come in Narrow (AA), Medium (B) and Wide (C). Hope this helps.
