Contacts for astigmatism always are more drying because it's always trying to rebalance and recenter on the eye. They have weights to correct for astigmatism that non astigmatism contacts do not due to the difference in cylinder and axis.
I am a size 8 1/2 I also pretty wife eat, so I'm hoping it says it will work. I plan to wear it with thick socks. Will let you know how it goes or if anybody have advice.
My first visit. Do not arrive after dark. The signage is good, but I'm old and at night and on gravel roads it is difficult. Roads are in pretty good condition, no big potholes. Cabins may be FEMA trailers, but nicely finished inside. Lots of wood. I will be back but will bring more basics like butter and oil. There is no oven or toaster. Bring your own pillow! Views are wonderful, it's April so not much foliage. Will come back in the winter and hope for snow! Definitely returning. Grandkids would love this place.
The Bausch + Lombs are not thicker? They might look thicker in the case because they have a blue tint to help you find them if you drop one, but otherwise, they are the same thickness. lol I have wore the Acuvue for years, they are good contacts but I had issues with wear time and discomfort. Once my eye doctor gave me the Bausch + Lomb Ultras, I was much happier. I will hopefully give "my" review after much wear on the B&L's.
I loved mine but they wear so quickly. They are super comfortable, especially after skiing or running if your feet are sore. Watching a soccer game in the freezing cold with them, kept my feet warm. I had a designated boot for left and right. The cushion will adapt, so I marked them with a sharpie. But the outer sole is so thin, once that is broken, water will get inside. Still have fun with ‘em.

I'm a size 8 too, and I followed their guide and got the 38-41. They are SO BIG I feel like a clown :( I ordered the 35-38 just because I gotta see how that small size feels - I'll return the one that I like the least
Sorry to hear that! They have probably adjusted their sizes. I just ordered mine. I'm a 8.5-9 and I've ordered the 39-41. I hope they they fit me well.
I just brought me some and I was soo confused about what’s left and what’s right if gives off when I was a child and I put my shoes on wrong I haven’t worn them yet but I’m excited to wear them this winter and I ended up getting the same size you got I got a 35/38 I’m a size 5 and I wear a 6

I use self-tanner to even out skin tone, and this one is PERFECT for people with olive undertones! I tan extremely easily (even with sunscreen on), so it’s common for me to accidentally get a farmer’s tan just going for a 30-minute walk here in Florida. So, this prevents me from looking like a zebra lol I leave it on for 4-6 hours typically to make sure it does its job before rinsing it.
