I get it! It's hard to refer a patient out without feeling like a failure. Will the patient feel that way about you? It's possible, but it's also possible you'll actually get more referrals! I've had more than one patient be VERY happy that my referral got them to the help they needed and they were so grateful they still sent patients my way.
