Guys I appreciate what you're trying to accomplish here but basically the answer to where to start was to take into account where you caught fish yesterday and have a network of guys. Most fisherman do not have a network of guys who fish weekdays so they are starting blind other than social media. An interesting episode would be...What would you do if you haven't fished in 5 days and couldn't call other full time captains to get info? That is the question most recreational guys have to ask themselves every Sat morning and that's the thing they need the most help on. Just a thought. Look forward to your next episode!

Next time we record a set of these videos, I will ask the question again phrased the way you have said. Great idea. May take a few weeks to get back to this.

Dude, be proactive. Go meet captains, talk, bring coffee bud light whatever, talk. Develop a network rather being all helpless. That’s what I’ve done at Winthrop. When you find fish even accidentally captains can use help too. Be proactive. Most captains have a heart of a teacher also

These round table sessions are great. As I am not familiar with your ports can you tell me the spelling so I can look them up on a map? Are they on the southern shore? Otherwise when you talk about wind direction effects I can’t follow you. I you leave a southern port would you desire a north wind? If you were at a port that is situated where the southern tier turns north (an eastern shoreline) what wind direction would be productive? You want the wind to push warmer water towards your location? Thank you and please keep them coming.

I would like to thank Adam,Kevin,Dennis, and Alex for all of the info I think where you might miss the point is that if one would like to really catch fish booking a trip with a captain out of any port do check local bait shops to see who they like and who fishes to your why of thinking would be so helpful to folks rather than dragging the boat up gas blah blah we all know the issues. Most of the captains in this area don't go out and zero the amount you can learn from being on the boat with them you just don't get from a video. Alot of captains tournament fish so the best of the best most likely isn't shared on utube, but getting 3 hours in on a zero day you will start to see the good stuff. Guess my point is if you own a boat and gear that will fish these ports booking a trip with a local is a very cheep way to learn a ton and yes these guys catch fish.
