Yeah he seems that way as well. He probably gives off that vibe. In an interview he says he NEVER gets recognized, which I thought odd because he has some distinguishing features. He says he thinks its just because he thinks of himself as just a normal guy - maybe that comes across and so people dont notice him. But isnt that weird?
Back in my production days, I crossed paths with J.A. Preston who plays the judge in this clip. Great character actor who was also in Body Heat, Remo Williams, Air Force One, Contact, and every top tv show from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Best wishes to Mr. Preston.

This is copied off Never Mind the Buzzcocks. It's annoying because it's identical. Actually, he's copied loads of stuff. He isn't being creative but is stealing and riding on the success of long-running UK gameshow and chat show ideas, presentation and comedy, then presenting it in a way that makes it look like his creation, without even putting a twist on it, because the US is new to it and none the wiser. He copies it down to the delivery. He's even been accused of ripping off rival show hosts in the US, too, like Jimmy Fallon. I like this show, but just pointing out that the show is somewhat an amalgamation of shameless rip-offs. It is US success that should be going to other Britons who came up with those ideas. Anyone in the UK will get de ja vu watching some of this show. The RU-vid thing is one of the only original things. I like Corden and I like the show. I'm just pointing that out, though. This isn't mistake that this is identical to the identity parade round on NMtBC. People are acting like it is similar or reminds them of it, it is identical, even the delivery of the jokes!

Its not unusual for James Corden to outright just steal comedy ideas/formats, Ask a certain pair of British radio D.J.s who actually had the format of what is basically carpool karaoke on their show for a number of years before Fatty McTwatty started doing it on this show.

So he just stole this segment from the British show Nevermind The Buzzcocks. A show that James Corden has been on several times and has even been a guset host.
No matter how much I love James Corden, it's so very silly of them to steal this Buzzcocks-segment in its entirety when they easily could have altered it a bit. Too bad.
