Great presentation, J. Michael Oliver! Big thanks to the Mises Institute for inviting this gentlemen to speak. He made a very strong case for what I suspect many of us-including laypeople with zero knowledge of Austrian economics- feel is inevitably approaching. As a 90's kid who was "educated" by the government indoctrination camps that are public schools, it's truly been an honor to have the opportunity to listen to free-thinking intellectuals, academics and business people courageously carrying on the honorable tradition that is the Misesian/Rothbardian Austrian School of economic thought firmly rooted in Praxeology, particularly since the insanity of 2020 and beyond. I can confidently say that the Institute has completely changed my life and the way I look at the world. Your organization has empowered me, and countless others, to see reality for how it truly is, rather than as the state merely declares reality to be. Thank you for being a consistently sane voice in an increasingly insane world; a bright light in a dark world, guiding what Albert Jay Nock dubbed, "the remnant." Your organization gives me hope. I think the Mises Institute perfectly epitomizes the following eloquent Ludwig von Mises quote to a T: "Everyone carries a part of society on his shoulders; no one is relieved of his share of responsibility by others. And no one can find a safe way for himself if society is sweeping towards de­struction. Therefore everyone, in his own interests, must thrust himself vigorously into the intellectual battle. No one can stand aside with unconcern: the interests of everyone hang on the result. Whether he chooses or not, every man is drawn into the great historical struggle, the decisive battle into which our epoch has plunged us."

Hearing that interview with Rothbard was such a treat! He had such an infectious laugh. What a delightful and jovial man. The eagerness and passion with which he pursued discussions regarding these topics with literally anyone that was willing to have them is immensely inspiring. I'm admittedly jealous of those that had the opportunity to interact with him firsthand. Such experiences must have been so gratifying. The man truly was a tour de force. I'm sure he would be thrilled to learn that he has indeed become the éminence grise he aspired to be. He'd also be absolutely blown away by the impact the Mises Institute has made in the wake of his efforts. It goes without saying that if he were around today, he'd have no shortage of politicians and policies to expose. I can only imagine how hard-hitting his tweets would be. May he forever rest in peace.

M. Oliver is a smart guy. I have watched him for years on podcast talking about investing. I know he is a Libertarian, but this was a real treat. It is always good to hear from him. END THE FED. Gold IS Money.
