Just a little something I put together to show I'm still alive, and in celebration for the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. I really love the Ace Attorney franchise, but there are a few cases spread across the games here and there that I have mixed feelings about. This is Knuckles (from Sonic Boom) giving my ratings on each case across the entire franchise (minus the crossover with Professor Layton.

Its always a blessing whenever final cases are beloved. Like tell me, out of all the games, which has the weakest finale?

I haven’t played TGAA games yet so I can’t speak for them, but I’d say Turnabout Ablaze (Investigations 1) is the weakest. It’s the only final case that I wouldn’t say is the best the game has to offer (besides maybe Turnabout Succession from Apollo Justice).

Unspeakable Story, it's terrible as a final case, at least Ablaze has an conclusion to the game, TGAA 1 is a game that's half finished.

What? How wasn't turnabout Reclaimed approved? It has the dissin of Phoenix Wright and Orla. And overall I found it to be very fun case. Probably my 2nd favourite in DD right after turnabout for tomorrow.

I prefer 5-5 over 5-DLC but -DLC is likely my second favourite case in the game. Cosmic Turnabout (5-4) is underrated though as is 5-3

My tastes run more or less opposite to the video with this game. I disown the first case for essentially flipping off Athena and the audience, but love case 2 (hard to beat that ending cutscene, btw) and my favorite case in the game is Turnabout Reclaimed. ❤

Well, that was something unexpected. But I have an idea for you : why not make your own Ace Attorney cases by video editing simulating a walkthrough through a game we never got to see? It would be much less labour intensive than a Mario&Sonic episode, would line up with your current passions, wouldn't feel too much out of place on this channel and would flesh out your writing and sprite editing skills! What do you say? This idea is fully yours to make it as see fit!

Nice video, it was pretty entertaining, and nice to compare your opinions to mine. agree with like... 60ish% of Knuckle's opinion here. Imo rise from the ashes was the best, but it is a bit long, so... Makes sense Knuckles wouldn't play it all lol If I had any criticism, it'd be the fanfares lasted forever and got repetitive, but nice video. Video: APPROVED.

As a huge AA fan who has played all of the games I 100% agree with this. The Great AA games in hindsight though; while I liked the characters yea most of the cases were mid/good except for the final ones of each of the 2 games, which were the standouts. Also, what about the crossover Layton x AA game?

I think the reason is because of the fact that it was a new case that was not part of the first game originally that is "kinda" a retcon to show how Phoenix knows Ema.

Not trying to start an argument, but I just fail to see the appeal in Recipe for Turnabout. That case irks me to no end.

Oh no worries. I love arguments! :3 Anyway, the main reason why I like Recipe for Turnabout is because the characters are so friggin funny (not Jean Armstrong). Not only does Victor Kudo remind me of my idiotic grandfather, but Furio Tigre just carries the whole case! His hilarious Brooklyn accent helps his case as quite possibly the best "Obviously Evil" villain in Ace Attorney! The jokes are also cleverly written (Twin Tea Set vs Fortify My Platter), and Furio Tigre will never not be an entertaining to fight against. He ruined your reputation (and it SOMEHOW WORKED despite how STUPID HE IS!), and the fact that he admitted to committing murder had me laughing up a storm! Say what you want about Recipe for Turnabout, but I feel like too many people dismiss it as a bad case because of how stupid it is (even though stupidity is part of the Ace Attorney Charm as a whole). If you were to ask me about the worst case in T&T, I would say it's "Turnabout Memories", which is a good thing. While it's not a bad case, far from it, actually, first cases SHOULD be the weakest. Ace Attorney games should NEVER peak at the first case. Just look at what happened to Apollo Justice. (Regardless of whether or not you like about Turnabout Succession, first cases should not be peak.)@@jmkrebs30

Hold up, I won’t stand for the Recipe for Turnabout disrespect. Easily better than Turnabout Big Top, it had some serious depth and even gave Gumshoe a heroic moment.
