Paikka on luonnonkaunis, kauneinta Suomen rannikkoluontoa.
Knut Sundbergin taideympäristöä on kuvattu ja tallennettu Maaseudun Sivistysliiton vuosina 2022-2024 toteuttamassa ITE Uusimaaseutu -hankkeessa. Hanke sai EU:n maaseuturahoitusta Uudellamaalla toimivien neljän Leader-yhdistyksen ja Hämeen ELY-keskuksen kautta.

Knut Sundberg's ITE art park in Täktom, Hanko
Knut "Knutte" Sundberg (1940-2004) was a customs officer from Hanko. He made up to 1,200 wood sculptures in his life and signed his best works simply "Knutte". Only a small part of the works has survived, and a few dozen are on display at Täktom in Hanko. You can find them along Långörintie. By bicycle, the distance along Täktom beach road is less than 6 km. The place is scenic, the most beautiful coastal nature in Finland.
Knut Sundberg's art environment has been described and recorded in the ITE Art survey project, implemented by the Association for Rural Culture and Education, in Uusimaa area in 2022-2024. The project received EU funding through the four Leader associations operating in Uusimaa and the ELY center in Häme.
